👋 I’m nikki, welcome to my page! I create mostly skincare and beauty content on RU-vid, IG, and TT. I’ve struggled with acne for 10+ years and love sharing my journey testing products, and hopefully saving you money. Any questions, let me know 🫶
Hey! Your seem like a lovely person but I have to ask, were you being sarcastic? I know by experience that Paris doesn't smell good at all, so I was jus wondering if that was just a joke or if your experience was really nice, thanks
@@Priska_KellyI’m french and I agree with you comment. Paris stinks, the bad smell comes from the old buildings and monuments’ walls. It comes from generations of smelly and nasty things that got stuck to the fabric of the walls according to me.
@@ancs1231 no it is not a common thing, french people do use deodorant 😄 I think you had bad luck haha but yeah in big cities such as Paris, Nice etc.. you meet more people with bad hygiene 😕 it is like everywhere in the world, in big cities, you meet really actives people, people with bad living condition but also people who smells nice 😊
Everything in this video sound like bs but that oil smells amazing Edit: I just realized I have the pinkish bottle, the "florale" version. To me that's one of the best smell ever.
I also heard that some French people in Paris lie passed out on the street from drinking too much alcohol.. even in broad daylight.. idk if that’s true.
@@torilan2672hat isnt true. You will fond more passed out drunks in england I can tell you that much. Being inebriated publicly is condemned by the law
You noticed as well 😷 it stinks normally, but when the temperature rises the smell gets worse! It was my first time in Paris and almost gaged, and i was like is this Paris or i am nightmaring🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nuxe is amazing. I like to use it before the perfume to help increase the longevity, on my neck to add a nice glow, and my hair for shine and good smell! I also recommend the Nuxe Florale version. (Pink bottle)
@@missmaverick3477 I have the pink bottle too, i can't tell what it smells like, it's like the perfect mix of essential oils. I also use it on some itchy scars on my arm, it's an immediate all day lasting relief.
I went to Paris recently and I agree, there is a smell to everyone. I also feel like in London everyone smelled like Vetiver. It was odd everyone smelled the same.
I love this stuff! I don’t like lotion, so I use this when I get out of the shower instead. Because it’s a dry oil, it absorbs quickly, and I can get dressed right away. And yes, it smells lovely! 💚
Y’all find something negative to say about EVERYTHING half of y’all are lying about being from Paris to try and prove a point😭😂 she gave them a compliment gosh
I thought it was fragonard factory in Grasse. I went when I was 15 and got Juste Un Baiser (just a kiss) but every scent there was so beautiful - I remember debating between that scent or one that reminded me exactly of the ocean & ocean blooms.
In 1966 yes that long ago!!! I was in Grasse and bought a perfume called Genet. We were at a factory (?) everyone LOVED IT. It was in a metal bottle and I saved it for years just to inhale the remains. I would so love to have it again but it was a sample, probably never produced. But it was better than anything I’ve ever smelled
last time i was in paris most ppl smelled like sewage (not an exaggeration) i’m american and our french tour guide was surprised we use deodorant and perfume so often 💀
I use it for my hair because I can't use heavier oils and sometimes for a bit of hydration for my skin. It's a very nice smell! Not heavy at all and on hair lasts some time. Not on skin so much. But idk if everyone in Paris smells like this since I always mostly smell sweat lmao.
It's Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil it doesn't smell good to me and it's like rubbing vegetable oil on you. -im not french you can find it in America, it's like 40$.
I'm not French from Tunisia and we use it oftenly it's a mix of many essential oils it's goe's on The hair and body it has a Jasmin smell to it, personally I use the sparkly one HUILE prodigieuse at The beach because it makes the skin glowy
I've known about nuxe for decades. Bliss used to be an exclusive high end salon (yes, the one now ar cvs & target) and you could order nuxe from then. As i recall. Or it was another now defunct site. You ordered by fax lol
I don't know if that is what everyone is wearing in Paris but I'm sure it smells so good and it's helped me with my dry cuticles to a degree I never imagined before. Use it on your hands and other parts of the body to get ride of any dryness👍 rub it on your hands a couple of times a day
It is actually an oil dont use it as a fragrance! the company is very famous for that one smell wich every of their product has. It smells very good but not in a perfume way. I would say it is a very rich warm almondy smell that makes you wanna eat it.
@@dalitlifematter8141 Monoï can be applied on the body and hair. Some use it as well as a tanning oil (I wouldn’t recommend as it has no spf protection) It is originally from French Polynesian islands and made with a flower from there called “tiaré” and coconut oil
I’m from Costa Rica and one time I was doing a walk where at the end you could have a closer look at a volcano. I just remember being close to the end (I knew where the end was since I had been there before) and I just kept smelling something extremely strong - sweat, armpit, ass, you name it, it made me get teary eyed and all. Well, when I reached the end there was a group of about 10 French people. They then left and I could go back to breathe fresh air but goddam, I had never smelled something so strong coming from humans I swear it was like acid 😩. I do not trust this video lol.
I got lucky when I was in France it was in October and no one stunk on the rer b lol it was windy and chilly and now I’m thankful I didn’t go in summwr
I've been using this for a year or so as a Parisian, I really like the smell but young people tend to dislike it for some reason. Your video reassured me 😂♥️
This is literally a body oil, I use it on the daily. It smells great but it’s not a fragrance! You can buy the fragrance, Nuxe, in eau de parfum form, and it smells exactly as the oil.
That oil is great for your skin nuxe has almond oil and honey and it’s standard drug store good mama in Paris. They have a great lip balm too. Great find! Hope you had a great time!
Been to Paris many times and love it 💟. Nuxe smells divine. I {thankfully} still have some left from my last trip. The body cream and the hair products (huile prodigieuse) are amazing and in my opinion, better than Moroccan Oil. P.S.: I have never had an issue with someone's hygiene in France. Especially not a local. I have however, seen many tourists behave like entitled @ssholes
“Everyone in paris smelled so good” DUDE ARE THEY PAYING YOU TO SAY THAT? all of them smelled like they didn’t shower in a week and had really greasy hair when i went there
My former boss and his wife went to Paris in summer of 2019 while driving to different countries in Europe. He came back saying they couldn't leave fast enough because Paris strongly smelling like pee.
