The tiger is worthless without a skilled crew. But with a crew, who is smart, quick, and decisive, and a leading naive commander, the Tiger is a beast that will slaughter everything in its path. The King Tiger though, it's hard to describe. Because every man that met it died.
@@germanydontsuffer222 This is the most false thing ever lol. In 1944 most tiger crews were far from "aces" or good. Most were young men with an old commander shoved in a steel box. The best Tiger ace in WW2 lost to a Canadian sherman witha 75mm. His tiger was one tapped.
@@NokotanFanCentral Most are ignoring that the Tiger 1 was the first of its kind, with prototype suspension and wheel configuration, up to 92 shells that weighed 22lbs each. It was a First true Heavy MBT and statistically Tiger 1s broke down less than Pz. IVs and with the Tiger 2s even less so. Being a prototype means little to no spare parts on the field. Ask the Americans how it was getting the Pershing overseas onto German soil.
@@godofhate4167 because unlike the Pershing and many German designs you couldn’t pray for it to magically work, look at the panther. When it was first pushed out it was a POS with the suspension and much more but generations later fixed it. The Americans couldn’t be the same. If they wanted to modi the Sherman’s they would have them bring them back across the ocean which is a pain, why do you think the Sherman’s had a tad long development time? Cause they wanted them to work, same with the Pershing but a much heavier design, (going back to the Sherman) unlike German tanks if something was wrong with the suspension they couldn’t send it back to the production factory’s for a refit. Yes I will admit the M4 Sherman (76) took a tad long to be introduced. The Sherman in Africa was really good for a s*ithole too, although I guess the panzer was too Thought I would just add this onto yours
@@godofhate4167 also there’s was basically no tiger - Sherman engagements, and which type of Sherman are we talking about again? No Sass just asking which one we’re talking about
@@NokotanFanCentral Well we are not too sure about that, there was a small detachment of Tiger 1s that made it to the beaches cities and towns so it could have been possible an engagement happened on Sherman's. "There might have been a few, Only 4-5 Tigers escaped from Normandy, but it appears that they were all blown up/abandoned on their way back anyway. The rest of 80-90 Tigers used on the western front were mostly Tiger II's, deployed during the Ardennes offensive and subsequent battles (dec 1944 - may 1945). "
yeah, and it doesn’t have that much of a dated design (don’t get me wrong,it looks dated) but the tiger, compared to other ww2 tanks, its design doesn’t look that dated, along with the tiger 2 and panther
"Herr hauptmann, our tiger can easily penetrate the shermans charging us- we should remain in position and destroy them all before they can flank us." "NEIN! DRIVE ME CLOSER! I WANT TO HIT THEM WITH MEINE SWORD!
Every dude is telling here the tiger is OP but it have very big weakness the front driver Armor Can be easily penetrated by anti tank cannon. Skilled tiger I user
@@_shivesh_12 gotta give credit to the king tiger tho, its front side has NEVER been penetrated before, a kamikaze of a sherman was the only thing that could take it down, hell it could even battle the tanks we have today and still win
@@shoutaaizawa2469 dude that was so badass words but maus and king tiger is the best tanks but maus didn't fully go into service only 2 prototypes we're made but one got destroyed and one fell into the soviets hands
Tiger IRL: Engine fires, damaged systems... Tiger in War Thunder: simply bad players who watched way too many movies and think the Tiger is invincible (It's not)
overrated movie and no logic no tank is shooting when moving or why would a tiger lose his position from afar could take out the whole train if he had waited but no american movie overrated americans worst soldier ^^
@@andthenhedead6076 The 76 mm gun could penetrate the Tiger's armor from the front at close range, but it would have difficulty penetrating the Tiger's armor at longer ranges. The Sherman also had a lower rate of fire than the Tiger, which gave the Tiger an advantage in a head-on engagement.
Germany have the best tanks from the start u cant beat them in tank wars their soldiers who control the tanks were just no capable enough to get the full work from tank
Your sources are from world of tanks or War thunder I bet, the crews were fully capable but Germany didn’t bother training near, the transmissions and almost everything on it Germany didn’t have or was too complex, Germany’s tanks aren’t good if you can’t reach the battlefield, it isn’t just all gun and armour
@@manuflores5316 Ah yes, gayallies using their gayshermans and gathering up a 3.5 kd ratio against Panthers and easily penetrating Tiger 1 frontal armor with their 76s.
