We felt that it was finally time to reflect, something we've wanted to do for years. We've written so many songs together, and have been through so much as both friends and band-mates. Inspired and renewed we went to work testing sounds and getting out of our comfort zone to create something that could say it all. Every record we've written has different colors and shades. I think just about everyone here that's commenting negative things has forgotten that acoustic art is the roots of all hardcore, everyone starts with an acoustic, and I personally find it awesome when bands decide to turn it around and try something they haven't done in a long time. well done I See Stars!

I've been a big fan of I see stars for a while now and I love their music, yes a new album of new songs would be amazing but I love this acoustic album just as much! I really enjoy the cover of this song because Devin's vocals are amazing, I'm excited for this new album and everything they have coming out in the future. Great work guys!

I love I See Stars & Devin Oliver has an amazing voice. Despite what people say anything you guys put out I will 100% support. You're music helped me thru my darkest days and will continue to inspire me and help me thru my problems. I can relate to a lot of your songs. Even tho there is so much hate about there not being a new album I'm just glad your still makng music and touring. I will wait patiently for all your new music. As long as you guys keep making music i will keep smiling. Don't let other people's negative comments bring you guys down. Cuz the real fans will always be here.

Nobody in the history of humanity has ever only been interested in only 1 type of music so I don't understand why fans expect their favorite bands to only stick to one type of music. You're all on drugs, Its an acoustic album, Have we forgotten how almost all the post-hardcore bands have acoustic songs/albums. That we all love!!! ATDR SWS PTV ETC. Even old rock bands, ever heard of a ballad? Its crazy to think that Devin and Andy with their powerhouse vocals can still sound amazing acoustically. The fact that you expected heavy vocals means you cannot read. "UNPLUGGED" Ill follow I See Stars Regardless. This is awesome guys :P Devins vocals give me the chills, cant wait for the rest

havoren First off ISS referred to it as an Unplugged album, second you should look up the definition of "Acoustic Music" solely OR PRIMARILY the use of acoustic instruments. The main rythm is an Acoustic guitar. Too add, you don't see "good bands" just because parkway drive hasn't done acoustic nobody should? Let's see here, what post hardcore band has done acoustic songs/albums Hmmm... Oh yeah ADTR, SWS, PTV, ISSUES, MMF, and those are just some, all headliners, known for their acoustic side. Sorry to be rude but you're a clown and stop hating.

havoren I agree. Almost every band in the scene does that and it doesn't even deserves to be called acoustic. Issues and PVRIS went way too far with it. They put synths in their acoustic songs and even electric guitars ! How can a song be acoustic with electric guitars ? And the worst of all, Issues' "acoustic" version of Princeton Ave (that they called "reimagined" but every fan called it "acoustic") has an electric guitar solo ! Seriously, I don't get why people can't understand it. Also, I think it's stupid to say "it's a stupid thing you're waiting for heavy vocals and screams, it's an acoustic album". Instruments define if a song is acoustic or not, vocals don't. But unfortunately, not many bands used screams in their acoustic songs, and bands who did it aren't really famous.

+havoren you're starting to really piss me off dude.. the back up singer is Andy, his fucking brother. The song is about their mom. Murder Mitten has a Piano and a Cello Which are both ACOUSTIC instruments with electric counterparts. In this song yes there is a little synth, but PRIMARILY all the sounds are from the ACOUSTIC Guitar, those so called drums are him hitting the guitar plus a slide. It's one thing for you to say it's not acoustic (when it is) but to its shit? That's you being a hater, again. Quit your bitching, a cash grab? So at your job, when your boss comes up to you and offers you a raise. I want you to say "no, I don't want more money, Me taking money for doing the same thing is a cash grab." It is their job to make music. So literally everything they do IS TO MAKE MONEY. IT'S THEIR JOB.

+havoren You clearly didn't understand the electric counterpart. I meant an Acoustic Guitar/Electric Guitar, Piano/Keyboard, Cello/Bass. I'm sorry to break it to you, but Acoustic doesn't mean just Acoustic Guitars and Vocals. Look up the fucking definition before calling me a dumbass. I'll say it again just for you Acoustic Music - the use of solely OR PRIMARILY use of acoustic instruments (Acoustic Guitar, Piano, Cello, Violin, Etc.)

+Guillermo DM But this track is really subpar concerning production, vocal performance and lyrics. The strong side of most metalcore bands is an energetic performance, which acoustic albums don't favor. Criticizing the decision to go unplugged is a valid thing to do.
