Am I the only one who thinks this is a shitty practice? You know thrift stores like goodwills have increased their prices because of people like you right? Look I love thrifting as much as the next person but to thrift just to turn around and make a profit off of someone’s donation just seems wrong…
11.3 million tons of clothes end up in the landfill every year.... Resellers are actually helping the landfill epidemic - they keep the clothes back in closets and out of the landfills. When major corporation thrift stores can't sell the clothes they end up in the trash. Truly sad and so horrible. Resellers are not the enemy.
The thrift stores are just trying to make money. Thrift stores like goodwill and Americas thrift store (shown in this video) even have Poshmark closets, auction sites and reseller mystery boxes. The point of a thrift store is to make money to give back to the community, not to give the donated items to the community.
Thrift stores actually did not raise there prices because of resellers they actually raised there price because utilities prices have gone off the roof and not to run a profitable business you have to raise prices to be able to keep up with bills. so please buddy do some research and open up that fu#king coconut head of yours.
Good for you!❤ As a "poor" person, i appreciate the fact that you're a young person willing to hustle and work at your own business, doing something you're good at, for money. I'd rather see you in my local Goodwill than the HORDES of women my age(middle age) and older, who are buying items to horde, collect, and do nothing with! This is America- anybody else can do this too and there are plenty of thrift stores, clothing banks, and garage sales for both the poor and resellers, to go around.❤
My parents do reselling and let me tell you, there is a ton of great stuff there even after they may pick out the expensive items! Most resellers don’t even take all of the decent items, they often leave items for others who may need it.
@krswan72 your acting like its a crime calm down its just clothes and the tall sally that had tags? they obviously didnt care about those pants enough to wear and take off the tags, there is literally tons of other clothes in the store especially in the place where you just drop off your donations, your acting like shes taking all of the clothes in the store just deal with it
The prices your selling these things for are crazy high. The nerve. The greed. A 8$ dress for 100$. Why would I spend that on something used! Hey but if they are purchasing these items, for those prices, more power to you. It’s the integrity for me’

No scams here. I list used clothes online, customers looking for those clothes at a discount price find my item, and then they buy it with their own free will.
As she sells these things on eBay there's thousands of people are doing this and making good money after someone donate something is out of their hands she's doing a good job
This isn't a scam, how is it a scam? She's using her free time, gas, wear and tear on her car, her time listing items, her own packing supplies, monitoring listing's, answering questions, driving packages to the post office which again costs gas and wear and tear on her car. So the person can comfortably sit at home browsing online for an item they just have to purchase with a couple clicks of a button. She is paying herself as an employee and she's doing all the hard work. Also the taxes she has to pay at the end of the year for reselling. If they person on the other end had to go out and find the item they would be doing the work too. Not everyone can work a regular job for a variety of reasons, I wish people would understand this. I have a bad ankle I broke in 2021 and didn't have surgery on. I also have anxiety and panic attacks as well as binocular vision disfunction. It's been years since I can work a "regular job" I wonder how it feels to be this delusional.
