But clearly it’s not settling since she agreed to marry him and have him meet her family and have them be together this long and have a family. If there was nothing there to begin with, none of that would have happened. I honestly feel like she was more infatuated with Brooks than in love with him whereas she was really in love with Chris and he was what she needed.

I was so happy for her as ette and she did a great job but tbh Chris was 2nd choice and that's fine. I think her family is great but i think to keep going bc to expose yourself for $$$ is not cool. Dez is still one of my 🌹favs tho.

She didn't get Brooks and then went with Chris. It took Brooks leaving for her to be completely in love with Chris after she was balling her eyes out over him.

@@catrinahartz944 I feel bad for even saying anything negative, but unfortunately that's just how it went. I do think Desiree and Chris are a cute couple though, but she was mesmerized by Brooks and was acting completely distraught when he left. Chris only became her first choice when Brooks left because he just couldn't love and be the man she wanted him to be. People have to be blind not to see that.

If settling means her ending up with the guy who actually loves her so be it. Id settle too if i was in her shoes. If she hd chosen brook, i bet they wont be together now
