Getting a consistent polish on stones can be really really challenging. You did very well in bringing that knife back to life. I hope it serves you (or your client) well! Also your stone collection is very impressive. I’m almost jealous!

Лично я бы протравил мелкий рисунок на всю ширину лезвия,возможно дамаскаж,как маскировка от последующих цапапин. А вообще зачем нужен такой нож который ржавеет. Хозяин не следит за своим ножом. Нож нужно беречь и протирать.
You just wasting you time to sharpening this knive till more than 4 hours but just can cut a piece of paper,I just used an sandpaper till grit 2000 and stropin with piece of leather and jeans cloth, finaly polish with an Autosol metal polish
Why do you have to dust up that you could have done is a grinder and stuff like oils new handles grinder blade I will do them stuff but you're not doing that
