Well, they are higher ups because overall they have higher competence, so an employee should always ask for all of those knowledge and skills as much as possible.

For those of us that do have SXS's it is still interesting to watch those recoveries. In fact, just a few weeks ago my XP1000 driver rear wheel bearing locked up and the axel snapped off at the end and ejected the entire wheel assembly. After watching your videos I had the confidence to get my truck and trailer down into the canyon and get it winched onto the trailer and back home to repair it. I feel like I used alot of techniques I have seen on your videos to sucessfully complete my own recovery. Thanks!

@@westman8527 A little SUV they’re restoring for ED as a surprise. There’s a few videos of them recovering it from when it got trapped several years ago by a rock slide. And both Fab Rats and Robbie have several videos of them fixing it up. Ed doesn’t watch RU-vid so it’s been setup as a surprise that they’re really fixing it up and not just getting it running. But, people have been stopping by the shop and confusing Ed about it by asking questions.

I enjoyed all of this! I like the way Lizzie goes about her business. Whether welding or recovering, she always has her head in the task at hand while learning and growing with each opportunity. I think the trailer is awesome! Also, it’s always a joy to see just you and Jamie go out on a job.

I totally agree! Lizzy is awesome and I sit and wonder how many local young men that have fallen in love with Lizzy. And there is no mention of her having a boyfriend at all or maybe I missed it but it doesn't seem like Lizzy is too concerned about boys or maybe she's just smart enough to not mention it probably to save her the trouble she would have if people thought she was out looking! I'll bet she would be overwhelmed with guys trying to court her!!! Lizzy is just awesome!

In Utah, a standard work week is 40 hours. Any employees who exceed this number of hours worked are eligible to receive overtime pay. Paying Overtime: Employers have to pay their employees an overtime wage of at least 1.5 times the rate they make on a regular basis.

@@mikegrzincic6235 when were tow hooks mandated? Some of the vehicles might be older than the hook mandates. The A-arm appears to work alright.

@@mikegrzincic6235 There is good reason. The factory recovery point you're referring to usually requires the tow operator to carry an assortment of eye bolts because they're not standardized. So the choice is either carry a pile of eye bolts, each different lengths, thread pitch and size, find the right bolt, find the recovery point, attach it all, do the recovery then relace the access panel. OR, he could just toss a soft shackle around the lower control arm recover it, take it off and be done. We're not even going to get into the geometry complications of the off centered tow points, or how much side loading a little 10mm eye bolt can take, especially when you need to pull the car through sand around a corner.

And it's not 10 millimeters Instead of tugging on the suspension that is never recommended in anyway by any manufacturer Can you do it yes if you're a jackass

Hey mat What I’ve done in a jam when I needed a tilt trailer is I’d unhitch the trailer , and use the winch to pull itself under what I was after , pull till you reach a neutral balance , then hitch back up and finish winching the load . Works like a champ of ya take your time .

Matt: What you need is a redneck tilt trailer. When I removed the top story of our house to repair previous owners fire damage and poor roof install(leak), I had to take some loads to the dump. They wanted us at the time to place everything into this large trench. I took the first load over and unloaded it by hand. The second and third/last loads I took blocks to block the tires disconnected it from truck and then jacked up the front end until; away it all went. We build things with the ideas within our head today; tomorrow may present us with another way.

Good to see that trailer works well. Years ago in the eighties I had a trailer without suspension behind my Harley Davidson Tour Glide for thousands of kilometers, it was like the mother ship for the club, it only ever jumped over raised train lines at speed but couldn't feel it, saw it in the mirror, other than that it towed at any speed or road condition no problem at all. Most of the time I forgot it was there!

The higher the trailer the higher you have to go to load things on it. More prone to tipping too. Keep it as is 👍

The trailer suspension is now the tires. They are running them quite low. That's fine for low speed but not high speed or distance. Keep your suspension.

I originally found this channel over a year ago with you all just doing recovers. So another Razer recovery isn't bad because we get to see all the hard work and care you put into you're work. Thanks Matt and Crew

I did notice when he showed the mph on the highway the gas gauge was actually at 3/4 of a tank! Lizzy must have filled it up earlier.. LOL.. I think the real issue is the tank is too small. If it's the original I know it is, the V8 geared low uses probably twice as much as the factory flat six.

I would bet the folks telling you how you should do things and build things have actually no experience doing either one. I watch your videos largely because I like you and the crew and it's enjoyable watching people work well together and having fun while getting the job done.

It's amazing how many people immediately turn into idiots when they get behind the wheel of a SxS - they think they're suddenly Ken Block driving a million dollar trophy truck, and they're going to do all the crazy stunts they've seen on RU-vid....

I say that all the time. Behind all the SxS dealerships, there are a dozen SxS's waiting for the insurance adjuster (rolled over) I say... they get in and after 10 minutes they think they're the new Robbie Gordon. 10 minutes after that, while belted in sitting upside down, they find out they're not. Soon SxS insurance is going to get very expensive as more people damage more expensive machines. That new Polaris is 40 grand with add ons and tax.

The ladies stuck in the Toyota were all so nice... they were obviously out of their element and they clearly enjoyed the experience. Lizzy's kicking ass too. That was a great recovery even though it was fairly straight forward for the Morvair.

There in the shot of the last few seconds of looking down the side of the trailer, "loaded on the highway", looks like an almost flat tire..... You two worked great together too!
