Tiling kitchen splash backs are usually one of the easiest beginner tiling jobs to start on - unless they are glass tiles. I learn't the hard way on this one. After buying a wet cutter and a glass blade I returned to finish this property to finish what I had started.
The following day we self levelled a floor as the surface was un even. This is the best preparation process for an un-level floor to get it ready for tiling.
We have some bathroom tiling coming up in the near future so things are going to get real interesting.
