It’s true that ppl need to shower - but I don’t really need to shower, because I don’t smęll at all, and even when not using deodorant I still don’t smęll, like, I haven’t used any deodorant in over 18 months, as my sweat doesn’t smęll at all, and, I haven’t washed my hair and most of my upper body in about 18 months, but it still doesn’t smęll, though it does feel annoying, as the hair got super tangled and oily, and I am stuck in this situation, so, I want to wash myself, but I can’t!
Also the shower does nothing at that point, you can’t eliminate 30 days of funk with one shower, he gets out smelling worse. Because I know he doesn’t bathe properly! I bet he legs stink, the towel stinks, clothes stink, bed stink, he’s not washing those things either!
Next he won't go to the toilet, because whats the point when you pee yourself when your bladder is full anyway. Can just go to his high comfort bed and get his comfort and happiness back up 🤣
As someone who didn’t like to even bathe often, when I was younger.. When I got older and got into the habit of taking a shower a few times a week, it was great! I felt better about myself, and it got more refreshing as time went on, because I also I went from exhausting 45min-1hr long showers, to finally being able to do 15min-25min showers. Now as someone who has had to suffer not being able to shower for long period of times, for whatever reason that’s going on irl.. I’m extremely sad and miss the days I could shower whenever I wanted to. 😢
I think the frequency needed (as opposed to desired) varies from individual to individual. I know my daily shower has more to do with conforming to social norms/expectations, but just monthly seems way way over the top.
@@WideCuriosityMy daily shower is because it's way too hot here and even staying inside get you sweating. I'm not going a day without showering atleast once.
Social media really fucked up everyone. Looking at bro's hair, you can say he's well groomed. But ready to say anything just to get famous, even for a day, and for all wrong reasons.
Fun fact, showering can help your body not get infected with diseases. Showering about three to four times every week is recommended by most health specialists.
That's what society gets when it allows water companies to use meters to monitor and charge for domestic water usage. Some households skimp and the local area suffers. Flat rates are clearly better for the environment as long as monitoring of leaks is in place.
Maxim I’ve been watching you for weeks and a love your content as it is very relatable because I live in S.A land of loadshedding keep up the good work❤❤
I have a lot of difficulty with self care. I dont' shower as much as I SHOULD. it BLOWS MY MIND, that something I *wish* I could make myself do more often, is proudly, purposefully avoided by someone. I at least acknowledge I have a real freakin problem... *sigh*
My very first job out of University was to replace a fellow that was let go over personal hygiene. He never bathed. Never used deodorant. Never washed his clothes. Cleaning out his office was disgusting. Dried boogers covered the underside of everything. Had to throw his chair away. And this was an engineering position at a nuclear power plant.
There is a term we used in the army (mandatory military service) in training camps in the woods…it translates to something like ”guerilla cheese” wild that someone wants it voluntarily
I get really anguished if i skip even one day without getting a shower. I hate to be dirty and you never know what tomorrow brings, one of those days might be a day when you don't have that option, so are you going to be dirty when that day comes. It's like not washing your teeth before going to dentist.
this is thet most gamer thing lmao, as a gamer myself who plays 12hrs in my day-offs, i don't have much time for showering, and this dude is just making an excuse.
My late father told me a story, when I was a boy, of how one of his workmates went on a backpacking holiday into a desert. The transportation being used broke in a sandstorm. The workmate had to hike through this desert with a guide, and bathe using the desert sands. It took six weeks for rescue helicopters to find him. The sand exfoliated his skin, and encouraged natural bacteria growth in his skin oils. When he returned to work, he would use a coarse brush and rub his skin after working out or going for a run, instead of taking a shower. My dad said this same workmate didn't have any bad body odour, and had incredibly smooth skin. ... There is a chance the male Max is reacting to has a valid point. But, given that my father is no longer in the mortal realm and he told me this story over 21 years ago, I can't exactly ask him for any more specific details.
I may also shower on an average of once per month (sometimes two), but unlike the Reddit Commenter, I always enjoy a good body wash. And on the days before that I make sure to place on some arm deodorant. Though, I do wish for some whole body deodorant someday like brands from "Secret" and "Lume".... but even if I got those products, my thoughts about showering would never change.
I don't get out much at the moment and don't have a lot of money for bills, so I only shower once every two-three days unless I have to go out on consecutive days. Even that feels nasty to me. Every month, especially for a man? I'll bet that his B.O. is flammable.
The info graphic show on youtube had a video 4 years ago “what if you don’t shower for a month”. I think they anticipated stupid people will think about it
I shower every day. Might skip a day if I’m really out of it. Maybe even two on some very rare occasions. But if you go more than two days without showering, you’ll become a swamp troll.
I love that these people are speaking publicly about their terrible hygiene habits. We know their face and can avoid them. No woman (or man) will ever sleep with him after that
To be fair, if you dont work physical work and its not hot, the less you shower the better for several skin related issues. However, once per week is recommended as the skin "breathes" and polution is a thing. The main problem is the use of soap, as the skin has no issue getting wet, its being wet for a long time and chemicals that is the problem. However, most people work, so most need to shower daily. Reduce soap content and use less parfyme/deo. The more you shower the earlier you will get certain skin issues and the more lotion you are going to need.
The longest ive ever gone without a shower is a month.... yeah its not pleasant. During the colder months, once a week, but during the summer, every day or at most, every other day. That sweat, oil and dead skin builds up quickly. Itchy after just a few hours of sweating. So yeah, while i may not enjoy showers, hygene is still important.
