I'm sure you did your due diligence, and are comfortable throwing in the kitchen sink (literally) into a company that doesn't make money. With revenue of $500k in Q1 and $700k in Q2, your play is perplexing. Maybe it's the "A-sample" that doesn't produce one penny because it's a prototype and not in production. Sell the sample after you take it off the wood block. Maybe it's the presence at a trade show. Maybe it's the spector of a buyout that won't happen to am absurdly overvalued company. Maybe it's the fact that Microvision has been around for about 20 years and has essentially accomplished nothing of monetizable significance. Maybe it's all the nonsensical pumping with rumors and speculation. Maybe this is a last play and ploy for your gambling addiction. I don't get this kind of thing. This is irresponsible and flat out reckless. Just give me your money. I'll donate to a mental health organization and homeless center in your hometown.

@@AM-qi4ro I don’t know if I would consider telling my whopping two thousand subscribers that I’m being irresponsible because I believe in a thing, a pump. But LiDAR is definitely a part of the EV changeover; it isn’t an inside scoop. Its a gamble as far as which LiDAR company will make it to the top, but really you only need to find one of the few that will make it at all. Microvision looks, to me, like one that will. Also, it’s not as irresponsible as you might think; my wife and I still have another house and two full time salaries with no debt or children. This is just a big bet; it won’t change my life in the slightest to lose, but it will change it a lot if I’m right.
Your transparency, research analysis, motivation, and dash of humor makes this an interesting follow. Best of luck! I have a hunch you will reach your goal.
I didnt sell - but I havent managed to average down to around $4 a share and I am still all the way convinced this will play out in the future. Just seems like I missed it REALLY bad on the timing.

At the beginning I was also very euphoric and very sure that Microvision would be successful. But since they focused only on LiDar and abandoned all other verticals, I am a bit skeptical. Now I just hope that we will survive the market.

See this, and learn how to cut your funds in half in just a month. When you are investing such a big money, you need to buy only in low volatility stocks, with good revenue and on uptrend, not in stock that falls a freefall with zero earings. Im in, just because my loss is too big, otherwise I would sell a long time ago. This is GAMBLING, not Investing. Better to throw it in casino, at least you will enjoy the process.

For someone that mined crypto using NVIDIA GPU's it's crazy you didn't invest all of that into NVDA. It was right there in front of you. Something that already worked and you used. This video is a great lesson. I hope it works in the end for you but I think you gave me a great lesson on investing.

I am homeless and have very little invested in this stock but $50 has me. 8 shares rn. I know ths stock will soar by spring of next year. I wish I was able to invest more. This stock would change my life if I had even 3000 to invest in it. I believe this much in microvison. I've been using cash app to trade and buy in and it's a good way to make money. But I'm so limited on money. Most people use money they have to spend. I use what I get to buy in. Mostly money I have to take back later. I hope one day I can make a buy that I can leave in place and not have to sell to eat. It's a shame.
Investors be aware - the deal between Microsoft and the US military is a deal between Microsoft and the US Military - and does not name Microvision on any level. Microvision has licensed Microsoft to use/produce their micro projection technology and I don't believe we know exactly how much $$ Microvision stands to gain if and when the military gear goes into full production. At this point, it will be a case of 'something is better than nothing'. I lost a ton of $$ in MVIS in the early/mid 2000's but still hold 1,000 shares, which I am now under water with. Be careful!
Yep, the AR vertical seems like good press but not necessarily a golden goose. Never know if Microsoft might want to buy that part out though.. It’s the automotive LiDAR that’s got me feeling confident. I’m certain the technology is going to be widely adopted; I’m only pretty sure it’s going to be microvision that rises to the top of the provider field.

I’ve got a key light in front of me, a fill light off to the opposite side and another big LED hitting me from the back off the left side of the screen for a highlight. I’ve turned my garage into the studio so I always have the same amount of light and don’t need to set anything up, it’s just ready to go!!

Yep, I havent been watching minute by minute like I was when it was higher - but they just bought that new warehouse in Washington. They just opened that sales office in Germany, and hired a bunch of people.. I just cant see a company doing all of these things without some kind of juicy lead.. It might take longer than we all though, and the overall market definitely isnt helping anything, but I remain confident!
@@pazuzuxx well, luckily two things are true about it; a: you don’t actually lose anything until you give up your position and sell, which I haven’t. And b: I’ve had quite the banner year in the crypto space, just the opposite but nearly equal to that in the stock market! So I have gained the ability to wait out this LiDAR bet until it’s conclusion, likely sometime in the next year or two.. I’ve even added a bit more, to 11,000 shares.

I bought 4700 MVIS @.71, I still have 3000 shares……Been holding for what seems like forever with lots of ups and downs. Hoping for the best but Mavis has been flat for quite some time now. I might be tempted to sell at $60, but will see if we ever get there………..
What a ride from $.71!! I got in at first at $1.80 but on pure speculation and TA of a friend of mine. But now after learning everything I could learn, I couldn’t be more confident in the future.. $60 is where I think it belongs, but I also recognize that the market really doesn’t make any sense at all so we shall see what the future holds.
I also have 2733 shares of AMC, but haven’t held it as long as MicroVision. Don’t like the roller coasters but that’s living in the fast lane when your holding MVIS &AMC

Mvis has great tech but it's been hyped up by buyout rumors that were supposed to happen over a year ago those people who were expecting this are getting sweaty palms and now panic selling it could fall easily back under 5 dollars if they don't get some serious offers on their patents

My conviction for MVIS is non-emotional. I do not know anyone involved in the company, nor do I have a specific passion for light detection and ranging technologies. Rather, I am speculating on what will grow faster than the average of the stock market in general - which I believe to be EV technology. Car companies are of course one way to go, but I figured I would seek out a technology that will hopefully become ubiquitous in all brands, rather than betting on a brand itself. Think USB or Bluetooth - it doesnt matter what computer youre talking about, they all use Bluetooth. Lidar just might be bluetooth. I am also looking into companies that recycle lithium batteries, because that will need to become a VERY LARGE industry in a decade or so when all of these new batteries start to wear out. That and charging networks have a SHITLOAD of growth to come, but I have not been able to figure out who is going to lead the charge in those realms. Microvision, though, it seems will be the *first* king of Lidar. They may not stay on top, but they will get to the top. They have the best specs in the best container.
The technology is good. It's the historicals that don't give me any confidence they will really climb. Unless there's another reddit surge. Otherwise, it almost sounds like we are hoping mvis goes up
After the Lidar sensor battle of 2023-2024 is over, THEN I will agree with you. But this next 18 months are different than every other year specifically.
I don't get why its a terrible plan to invest your money in one stock.. If you truly believe it is a stock that will not fail and worst case won't lose your money then diversification is potentially limiting the gains you would have received.. I initially was very diverse on my portfolio just like anyone would tell you to do but the fact of the matter is I didn't believe or feel safe about the other companies as i do for the one stock i love, so as the market shrank i started seeing more opportunities especially in Lidar at low pricepoints. I sold off all the other shares I own and am just loading into the stock i believe in now for the part that is gonna get me roasted here. I have currently 30k invested in Lazr, hoping to just keep adding to it like a savings account and build it up hopefully to 100k if things go well at work and with the stock. I envy this dude in a way if i wasn't happily married i'd likely sell my house live in a shitty apartment for about 3 to 5 years then see the money piled up..

@@tropito8888 that’s untrue about the CEO; a majority of his compensation is in stocks and he’s held almost all of it. He took some options to cover taxes. We’re all tracking it very closely over on the subreddit. There seems to be no bigger cheerleader than Sumit. Also, how did you come to the conclusion that it is overvalued? Considering total number of shares were under the price of our closest competitor Luminar, but Microvision hardware has better specs in literally every measure.
I mean, my influence on youtube is pretty limited - I dont expect I could cause any movement in the price. But rather, sell your house and buy a stock, and since thats such an unusual thing to do, have fairly unique insight to share with other people who are using MVIS in a search term.

Hey Buddie, This MVIS company is dead in the water. They are burning alot of cash and their not generating any profits. You should have invested your money into better stocks, Tesla, Apple, Marvell, Nio. As soon as it jumps up over $13 sell off, invest in better stocks out there. Good luck.
Thanks for the tip! This is a long term investment based not on profits, but an emerging technology that’s not yet in the market, it’s not yet for sale. It’s at the end of development. It’s a bet, but it’s a long term play. Those other stocks are doing great!! I have investments in Tesla and Nio as well.
I doubt the German show was a bust. It didn’t move the needle DURING the show, but we got to see without any doubt now, that MVIS’ hardware is actually better. Better resolution, small size, higher refresh rate. There is no doubt the conversations had there were fruitful. As for the plywood, those guys make LiDAR, not Beat Buy display racks!:) We’re in a better position than ever, just hold

@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE When you are into the tech, then here a little lesson: Lidar is a fools errand. You will have a precise vector space easily but you can't detect facial expressions and other subtile stuff in a scene. So you can basically solve 95% of all cases easily but that's where you hit the ceiling with this tech. To solve the rest of the cases you need a neural net and vision. When you developed a really advanced vision based system and you try to evaluate if you should trust the lidar or the vision system things get indefinitly complicated. Figuring out which system to trust, when you have two that constantly contradict each other is an unsolvable task. So the only way is to only rely on one system and that will be vision, because the roads are built for humans to interact with. And they don't have a lidar system, they use eyes.
@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE ...and then there is the AR play. For that please have a look what happened with magic leap. The next big thing that happens will be VR with passthrough and micro OLED. To scan the room and detect movement the best implementation to day is what oculus quest 2 has to offer. And guess what, it relys on vision. For further insights research John D. Carmack and what he did in his career and ultimately at Oculus Quest 2.

I'm confused why there is so much FUD for microvision - the number and extent of their patents alone is exciting. Hard to put a price tag on those, but these at least warrant people interested in investing in the tech field should keep an eye on updates for potential deals with major players involving mvis.

There is value in technology, and the propensity for the adoption/future utilization too, and this is where most investors would want to get in. If people only invested after a company had blowout earnings/revenue, the marketplace would look drastically different.

No change of plans. Nothing has changed with the company, or the prospect for that industry- just the stock market. It goes down and it goes up; if you sell off when it’s down you’re less likely to make money than if you’re able to wait for it to go back up
