Flats actually has a pretty big fan base for overwatch. The reason why he's not more popular is probably because he only plays overwatch. Not too many people interested in that
Honestly flats is kinda repeating the afkness too much lol. It was literally like 1 sec. Also when swapping hero you can't expect fast decision making by bronze players.
Hi - I'm a diamond healer who has a lower SR account to play with low SR friends (yes im a horrible person who ruins the game, sorry) - and I can absolutely confirm that bronze players regularly afk. After they die, during the game, just all the time. Flats may be wrong in that particular instance you are pointing out, but oh boy do bronze players love to afk for short periods
@@Meruem5 i have a bronze account as well. And yes they do afk, but in these specific situations the player just doesnt know you can walk forward before you load into spawn
turrets around corners are very common in low ranks. They are quite useful when the team feeds and the other guys actually walk onto the point and get destroyed by a single stationary turret
I lost my shit at 17:55. That's the exact real time illustration of, "if you don't know how to play the hero, play someone else". It makes you wonder if people even read a hero's description before they pick them in selection phase or they just close their eyes and randomly choose one.
Bronzo knows hook = 1 hit kill Bronzo know 1 hit kill good. Bronzo not understand 2 hit kill also good. ETA: the whole time he was on Dva I was in tears begging him to use boosters. Wasted DM happens (though it happens a lot for him) but there's no excuse for Dva to be stomping around at ground level all day long.
flats have you ever broken an astros headset because i havent and ive had a set since 2014 and i use it every day for music and ive had zero issues with it
Flats can you make a skin-tier video or videos? Starting with Rein and working your way through the characters. I love when you critique people’s skins and think it’d be helpful to find out which ones are actually cool.
I don't know if this has been brought up, but I think the majority of "AFKs" are the person sitting in spawn trying to decide who to switch too. And doing it in a timely fashion. Just my opinion.
17:56 the bap literally threw the immor field, at the bomb, and then the whole team just started to hoola dance around it like its some sort of cult ceremony
@@olivern2258 it's a vod that you send for feedback, except you're only sending it in the hopes the person watching will tell you how amazing you are and how your team was throwing or whatever. you're sending it just so your ego will get stroked -- hence, ego vod
@@themostdiabolicalhater5986 That's the thing with useless information on the internet - nobody asks for it, yet some people find it entertaining nonetheless :)
@@thebonelessone3107 you gotta activate your bronze brain for that one, it's simple. Bap saw the bomb and knows his cooldowns, so he instinctively threw immortality without remembering to look down first. He notices his mistake as the lamp activates; sad and defeated, he spends his last milliseconds trying to run into the pepega field before the bomb destroys the perfectly clustered teammates around him, as well as his hopes and dreams.
Congrats on hitting the Twitch goal! You really deserve it Flats. I just was telling my partner yesterday about how excited I was at the enormous growth you've had because you seem so genuine, passionate, funny, and caring for the platform/content/entertainment. Next stop, 1,000,000 subs!
I have to criticize the criticism of the torb turret placement at 15:10, both that corner and the opposite corner (though the left side is a lot better) are decent placements, it eliminates the sightline for the enemy to kill it on approach and by the time they're onto point ideally your team has engaged fully and they have to make a choice between killing the turret or killing your team. Im not a fan of the first placement at the back middle off point, especially with a pharah who can plink it out of range.
Bro this is bronze. Just put the thing where it is going to shoot at the enemy. The turret is better than literally all of them, there's no sense putting it where it's going to do nothing.
Thank you Flats for this amazing content, I finally found the courage to go into competitive something that was hard for me to do. Although it’s something simple it means a lot to me. :)
Still think the trifecta of the most important things bronze players need to learn are confidence, learning how to multi-task, and positioning. based off the bronze gameplay i've seen.
Not abusing Dva's insane close range damage potential, tickling from afar instead Using all of defense matrix at once for nothing Yep new dva player xd
