@@mohammedpatla which is even worse. If you use hacks, atleast got through the effort of hacking yourself. In both cases hard insta-bans are needed still
I just love how the hacker had Bastion PTSD after that first ult. You can literally see it in how he acts every time he hears the ult afterwards. Every time he tries to juke it, and if not for that pathetic pocketing mercy player he would probably have died every time. I especially love the second bastion ult, where the hacker was leaving spawn, heard the ult, and just turned around and ran back into spawn until he figured he was safe from it. His thinking that he’s safe on the chandelier on last point is a pretty close second for hilarious ideas from him though.
Honestly, I only have one game where I KNEW some dude was cheating. The enemy mercy pocketed them the whole time. I'm convinced the mercy is partied up with the cheater in that case.
@@Lost1ntheSauc3 One or two is reasonable, they could just be sore losers. But if the entire enemy team is calling out only your DPS for cheating, something's up. Especially if the enemy team is winning and they're calling out your teammate. Best you could do is go for the tie and disregard the game, then check for yourself and mass report
@@JacksonPicklebottom personally if I was that Mercy I would have just went battle Mercy and done no more healing or anything. If the hacker dies then they die
@@kayleethatoneweirdchick2465 Yes. Especially since the ability to kick players from the match was removed from overwatch (wait, it was always like that!)
@@tommysalami420 it is even more wholesome if it is a payload map specifically to have everyone agree to force the tie, the cheater loses no matter what, and everyone gets to have fun watching the cheater trying to get a w
Overwatch 2 definetly has a cheating problem, i remember in the first game seeing a real cheater was rare, im pretty sure throughout the 19 seasons i played OW1 i saw maybe 5-6 cheaters that got confirmed banned. In overwatch 2 i see a cheater a couple times a week, i use to save the replay and send it to blizzard but they are so common i don't even bother doing that anymore. it also seems like they are slow to ban them because i remember reporting a guy who was rage hacking and didn't get the ban notice for like a week.
I stopped playing OW2 because there widow cheats are so opressing, it wasn't so bad season 1, but season 2 was terrible for me, I played the first 8 days, reached my diamond and left to play GoW LMAO
@@Dartnitt you probably have encountered more than one cheater, but you probably just wanna give players the benefit of the doubt and assume they play legitimately and think nothing of it. I can imagine you don’t get too mad to notice and are not one of those people who scrutinise enemy players, play.
True. I've been playing since OW1 launch and I've only ever encountered a geniune cheater once in all those years. But yesterday my friend and I fought at least 2, maybe 3 so that was kinda a bummer. Consequences of it being free to play now I guess
@@Dartnitt It's partly due to the time of day i play, most cheaters who don't want to get caught will play late at night/early morning when most streamers are offline and thats thats usually when im online.
Also the change to bodyshots is just a setting in the cheat, he can easily set it to any part of the body or even smooth aim to near the player so micro adjusting after the cheat does all the work for you is easier.
It’s sad that it’s not just lower elo that refuses to tie when playing with a cheater. I’ve been in Diamond/ Masters games with cheaters and while I’m trying to hard throw to make it fair my team goes “easy win” and continues to sweat.
id argue that lower elo people are just people that play to have some fun. At the end of the day they don't really care if they win or lose, as long as they had fun. So from their pov, why would they have to sacrifice a game of having fun bc Blizzard decided that the cheater was on their team.
@@Fredrick046 I don’t consider winning with a cheater a legit win since you have an unfair advantage. I also wouldn’t consider it fun since the other team will likely be pissed at you too for supporting them. Even if you weren’t queued with them, you don’t wanna be known as the guy helping a cheater win.
@@ry4x223 first of all, i agree that you shouldnt help cheaters in any scenario (unless cheater v cheater). But i dont see how another person being mad at you would make you have less fun in that game.
@@Fredrick046 nah, lower ranks are definitely more sweaty for a win and take it however they can get it. There's no 'fun' in low rank comp, just a whole lot of toxic people blaming each other.
I think players like that Mercy who pocket cheaters should face punishment for being complicit for enabling a cheaters. I think a 30 day suspension would be fitting and perhaps erase their rank.
@@syrasmine Mm.. I don’t think so. You don’t know the actual situation. It’s obvious the Mercy was very much aware the Widow/Ashe player was hacking and didn’t seem all that bothered their team mates need assistance. The fact you had to clarify you don’t cheat is a bit strange, is the Widow/Ashe being pocketed by Mercy something familiar to you and feeling defensive over it?
With the account name being "AltRage", I'm assuming this is an alt account that someone uses to rage hack, as in aimbots on this account when they're frustrated with their games on their legit account? That would make it even better that they lost because they'd be even more frustrated and angry that they couldn't win while cheating even. 😂😂
1:04 if you look even closer you'll see that he doesnt hyperflick once, but actually hyperflicks twice! He actually double tabbed his auto-aim shortcut button twice!! 1:10 He uses the wall hacks to identify his target, he wants the Anna, he proceeds to peek, presses his auto-aim button, but the software "glitched" and didnt failed to auto target the anna. 09:28 They are also implementing penalties starting season3 if you knowingly pocket or team up with players that are cheating
The problem with people calling cheats in cases like this, is that the cheaters team might have a hard time telling if its genuine since the cheater is a complete bot outside of their aim. I hope that is the case for this mercy pocket. It'd been easier to judge if we could see stats.
There are some pretty creative cheats out there. I remember seeing a DVA aimbot that could automatically eat ults years ago. It was on an OW YT channel, maybe Emongg, but I don't remember. The part where the DVA auto eats a Mei ult is on Lijiang Garden near one of the megas at the end of a bridge. If that existed 2 years ago, I can only image that they've gotten better.
i remember having an aimbotting pharah in qp once. i did pocket her as mercy but didn't realize she was aimbotting until it showed her potg. aimbot pharah was something else to say the least
To be fair it can be tough to actually tell if they are cheating on your team. If I'm playing mercy I won't necessarily pocket them but I do heal them up. I will watch the vod after and report if needed.
I love the concept of being able to do a custom game with friendly fire. My duo and I have melee fights in spawn when we're waiting on the round to start and so the concept of being able to actually damage my teammates is great. I would certainly be the Mercy main taking revenge and just shooting my teammates when they keep doing stupid shit and making me mad XD
"Apparently there's a lot of people in Plat hacking" - yeah, like 1 in 3 games have cheaters. People who are so shit at the game they can't get to diamond and above, but their cheats will carry them enough in a fight to wreck the mid ranks Edit: also I've played a hacking mercy before actually! They had a 4x cheat, so 4x healing, 4x damage boost, 4x ability cooldown. It was insane. Ashe damaged boosted 2 shot bodied a Hammond alone. Anyone under her healing was literally immortal, and her flight was literally infinite to the point she flew outside the map bounds by spamming it
Ramattra ult would be busted with friendly-fire on, you just wipe their team, then let one of your teammates get sucked by Ramattra and keep healing him
Mercy is one of my mains when I play support and the moment we notice a cheater I literally just ignore them (the times the teams don’t agree on a draw) I would rather have an extra lost or to rank down than to help cheaters, they really ruin people’s games and if I can lowkey help by ruining the cheaters day I am gonna take that
It's disappointing to see that both supports kept the cheater alive through Mercy pocket and Bap lamp in the later parts of the video. Truly a win at any cost mindset but still loses
99.99% of players that use walls also use aimbot alongside it. If you see walls you should automatically assume they're also aimbotting. It's so pathetic. Also great content Jay, keep it up :)
ive actually saw an aimbotting lucio before it didnt work out as they expected it too since hes projectile. but it was clear as it kept trying to lock onto to the nearest enemy probably wasnt the best projectile based aimbot he was using
Last night we had a Brigitte keep saying “I’m just that good” while getting rolled, nothing about them seemed good 😂 until 60 seconds til the end and then all of a sudden we couldn’t get a shot in on the Brigitte. Now they could have just tricked us but it seemed weird and everyone started calling them out.
I've been practicing my aim playing Widow and Ashe the last couple days. I learned something for myself as Widow... It's not always about headshot 1 tapping, sometimes you need to just focus on securing kills and countering certain DPS by wasting their time on me.
Watching the mercy pocket this cheater was probably the most infuriating part of the game especially as a mercy player. And the fact that they still lost LMAO. Was is worth it to pocket the cheater and lose. Their mercy could’ve at least kept their integrity lol
@@BenoIsABot but your mercy can’t see these kill cams, so she don’t know if they are honest or not, and you can’t throw every match because the enemy are saying you have a cheater
Looks like the new Yondu hack, ran into a player with it on pharah/hanzo. Hacker doesn't need to aimlock on a target at all. It does something with the projectiles so if you miss it will still be a head shot or still hit the target. KROW did a video about it and its called top500 Pharah analysis if anyone wants to see how crazy the hacks can get. Absolutely mind blowing what people can get away with.
