The trick to never spending on gacha is to be too poor to afford spending on the gacha. The basic necessity to eat food and survive just slightly overtakes my desire to have an anime girl in a swimsuit Only slightly, though.

Not only because you got it, but because you got it *for free.* People spending money in gachas tends to often regret it, feeling *buyer's remorse.* Actually, the more they spent money to get the object of their desire, the more the satisfaction of getting it will be tainted by *regrets* (and sometimes even *guilt* for those who spend more than they have should)... BUT, if you achieve to get something you really desired for so long without falling for the gacha trap (no pun intended...), not only you'll feel the standard dopamine rush, but you'll feel moral satisfaction of being smarter than everyone. Being able to focus and persevere even if it looks impossible, staying confident that you'll improve whatever time it takes, and being able to wait for weeks, months and sometimes even years before you finally meet your target. Understanding in the process that the goal was never the finish line but the all the things you went through to reach it... This experience is really something great anyone could harvest from this gacha hell, but _only the chosen ones will be able do so !_ ;) So I'm telling you the real MVP are gacha A-F2P players. That's why some players are so *proud* of being F2P and won't spend money on the game even if you give it to them. *The satisfaction of beating the game for free is far superior than anything else the game has to offer...* _I'm out._

This video got me to try out Arknights and I gotta say that it has blown my expectations out of the water. Like you said, it starts off as a tower defense game that a quadriplegic toddler could win at, but quickly turns into an addicting experience with Civ VI levels of micro-managing. It has really changed the way I think of Gacha games. ...and the *cough* art is really...cultured

You know, I thought the whole concept of gacha games was insane and always wondered how people could spend so much money on a game without that complex of a innate system. People always complaining about $70 video games but here are normal people spending $500 for anime picture. I thought they were crazy. And then I started playing a gacha game.

Yeah the only thing I respect for Gacha is its transparency. Gacha developers would even announce the drop rates and while they often dont advertise it, its easily accessible information. Also since it doesnt have competitive multiplayer, it can never be P2W - but I digress

7:30 this is quite literally why i started watching fate series. Not only did I watch every. single. anime. I also play FGO on a regular basis, I went through all routes in FSN visual novel, and I played through the entirety of FHA. I also memorized almost all servants that ever appeared in the franchise. I can also summarize all holy grail wars, tell you how Chaldea inventions work (yes, I know how shit like laplace, chaldeas or fate work). ALL FOR THE SAKE OF A BETTER JERK OFF. IM NOT ASHAMED OF IT. NOW I KNOW WHY THAT PARTICULAR ANIME GIRL CALLED THIS GUY HER MASTER. I CAN READ ALL THE DIALOGUES IN HER VOICE AND I UNDERSTAND HER PSYCHOLOGICAL BACKGROUND.

The moment I saw Gigguk decide to continue on for Astolfo, because a "4* shouldn't be too hard to get" I just started shaking my head. There are some harsh lessons that must be learned in the gacha by experience, much like a child and a hot stove.

I play a bunch of different gacha games, but I've never spent any money on any of them because of how much I can do as a f2p player, which I really appreciate. I don't have as much time to play as I used to, but every time I'm able to go back to one, it's so much fun. And I never really try to get getting specific cards, my goal every time I pull is just for something new, that way I'm always happy with what I get.

Here to pay my respects to Dragalia Lost. There was nothing else like it, nor do I think there will ever be. Thankfully, this heartbreak is enough to make me swear off gatcha forever.

Personally the rhythm gacha games are my favorite cus even if I don't spend money and only do pulls based on what I get for free. I'm still having fun with the rhythm game aspect of it and enjoying the music. Though I play them on/off because I can get so into just playing songs that I can see the board when I close my eyes. Like if I play Minecraft too long and everything looks like blocks or if I play a jrpg too long and when I try to sleep all I can think about if stat and inventory management.

I've been a F2P gacha player for roughly half a decade or so and I only understood why there are people who somehow get offended with people like me for whatever reason after watching this. All throughout that experience, I never experienced the high Garnt felt during his pulls but that's probably because I never felt the stakes were high either. I suppose that feeling will only be experienced for people who actually had to face the odds against them and emerged on top.

The reason it took him so long to get Astolfo was cause he was praying to the wrong deity. It’s not the gacha lords, it’s RNGesus.

I would personally love to see a ratio of the summon/wish purchasers in Genshin that only go for the new event 5 stars next to those that whale and collect the constellations/refinements. I imagine it's something like 50 to 1, though who knows - you really have to be a particularly rare form of psychopath to pay for the latter seeing as the improvement to damage for the price is truly laughable. And so surely the mega whales, the people who dump half a mortgage we could argue are quite literally unwell.

I feel this with Azur Lane. So many waifus, it's the only reason I end up dropping any money in the game and I LOVE the game regardless. The story is fun too.

i've played FGO for 2+ years now and i have never put any money into it and i can still log in and still have fun. it has a fun story, yes it takes a bit longer if you don't use cash but it can still be at a fast and fun pace and there's always something fun to do thanks to banners and new story's

I'd like to add. Gacha is essentially Japan's version of casino's bc of the countries strict gambling laws. And gacha used/uses loopholes to be able to continue (like legally having to show the percent drop rate of each character), and gacha has been rediculiusly popular here in Japan for ages.
