If I was following a VA, following their anime career, I probably don't know a lot about their personal life, but I want them to get good roles and enjoy their career. Partly selfishly, so that I can enjoy it, but partly for their own sake. If they move up to a fulfilling career in a different industry, I will be sad to not see them around, but I would be very happy for them as well. It's the same for VTubers.

Seeing watame cry about sharing her family situation or about how someone thanked her for basically exist and saving their life cause they were in an emotional and mental hole. Seeing korone worry about being alone on her death bed because she doesn't have a lot of friends breaks my heart. We're all people just trying to live if not survive. It's that authenticity that has become anl pillarnl of emotional support for a lot of people this year.
