If I had a dime for every time I twisted off a bulb from the socket……Also I’ve glued tin foil on that light backing plate reflector and it shines like mad!
My reflector on my 8162B was rusty like yours and I just gave it a good sand and painted it satin white. It reflects much better now lighting up in front of the tractor really well and with the lense on you would never know it wasn't silver.
Why not just paint it silver? I was thinking maybe you could wrap the inside with tinfoil. Or a Aluminum foil I would certainly fluid film no sockets❤❤❤❤
@@chuckb9867 Silver will not reflect as much light as white. I have tried it both ways and there is no comparison. Don't make the mistake of equating silver paint or even chrome with actual silvering, they are nowhere near each other. Test the silver against the white and see for yourself. I use a satin finish since it spreads the light almost as much as a flat finish but you can wash it if you need to.
@@MatthewBerginGarage You're the man I believe you're right. I have heard of White Rock being used around solar panels. You open my eyes. Thank you for the goodness. I was just trying to mimic what the factory did. Thank you for your comment
I would take every one of those bulbs out and spray fluid film in there and switch to L. E!D my 2 cents sense. Hopefully get some snow real S 00 n❤❤❤❤ ❤😊😊😊
I had a cracked cast iron grille. Tig brazed it and refurbished the lights. Rubber washer was stuck and behind that is the spring. I used chrome paint and led lights. 100 times better.
