Also, I use prism platinum’s slim photocard sleeves and they work amazing with my slim sleeves from mayday. There is room on the side for a little filler design as well!
I love my prism platinum binders and sleeves. When i made my first order I did accidentally buy the wrong pocket pages ( I think they are called mini tour) I found out later like you, that they were too big with my sleeves they were made specifically made for BTS ( who I also don’t collect) On the bright side, they do fit the bigger inclusions for Enhypen like enniversary pcs and museum. I’d love to try the meow cafe but the shipping for one binder plus pocket pages to Australia was over $100 for shipping alone.
I own a few Prism Platinum binders and love them very much. Their 4-pocket pages are lot bigger than the ones from other shops, because the owner used to hate how different pocket-pages had all different width/height and there was "overhang" in their own collection. So they designed their pages to be all the same size regardless if it's 4-pocket, 1-pocket or 2-pocket pages. It's a different approach, and probably takes a bit to get used to. Like I used to hate the little space in the middle between the pcs, but now I like the look of it :D Was debating on buying one of Meowcafe's bigger binders (with more than 9-pockets) for my bigger collections, but ultimately refrained because I'm not 100% sold on the quality of their pages.
personally i decided to go with prism platinum over other brands bc they were the only one i felt was offering a product i couldn't get on alien aliexpress for a fraction of the price (not that i think meow cafe drops dropships, i've just seen a lot of that style on there and the pocket pages are incredibly similar in style)
There was a whole thing about this a while ago and K keep products on meowcafe are their own products that they have designed and have had manufactured, however, as with most manufacturers in China they will steal ideas and put them on places like aliexpress etc for a fraction of the price (and lower quality). The only A5 I could see on aliexpress like these have only 2 rings and have a circle cut out not a cat.
I personally have grown to love Prism Platinum more! I’m an American consumer but love a A4 for my bigger collections, which is where meowcafe comes in! I got meowcafe awhile ago & I like them but I find the page quality isn’t what I want it to be. I hate marks on my pages or wrinkles so after flipping through my collection to enjoy it I find it’s not staying in great condition. I bought a prism platinum for my small BTS collection & fell in love with the quality. (I also bought during the winter sale & have been using the freebie sleeves on so many other groups & inclusions by cutting them down if needed!) I also double sleeve my cards for aesthetic purposes, with the second sleeve being dragon shield, just in a color. They fit into both snugly & I’m grateful as I’ve had other meowcafe pages not work. Overall I preordered the A4 from prism platinum & hope the quality is great enough to house the rest of my big inclusions! 💙
i think the reason for the space between the top of the meowcafe pocket pages is so it's easier to slip the pc into the pocket. i also don't think any of the meowcafe pocket pages are double sided unfortunately
The prism platinum binders are so cute. There's a pink floral one on the Aussie website (I'm in Australia) not sure if they have it on the USA one though. I know there's a new collection coming soon so maybe that'll have more pink ones
I own prism platinum deluxe version and I am really satisfied with it. but the pages- I was shock the same way as you. I use dragon shield sleeves as well and the I was disappointed when I saw that the pages were to big for them. that need to be said the binders are really great quality and the pages too.
Hi. I actually prefer the Mandu Deco binders to Meow Cafe. I love my Meow Cafe binder, but as you said, the stickers didn't stick on the front. My San/HJ/Mingi binder is Meow Cafe and the ATZ stickers I put on the front dont stick well. So I might have to take everything off and leave it plain. Mandu has a binder that's pink, kind of iridescent color. It hasn't been stocked yet, but I'm thinking of moving my Yunho, Jongho, Wooyoung into that one. I loved the test w Jongho. lol Hes a strong young man. He can take it.
Yeah I prefer Mandudeco because their pc sleeves are nice and snug. They also have a pdf printable where you can measure your photo cards and buy the corresponding sleeve for them
I have gone back and forth with Prism Platinum & Meow Cafe for months now and I still can't decide which, if any, I want to go for. Firstly I'm in the UK so shipping is ridiculous and I kind of don't love that you likely need to buy all their products for your collection to fit and be safe. I love the binders but I don't necessarily like the pages or sleeves since I've spent over 2 years hunting for the perfect combo for me and have done so I don't want to change anything up BUT when it comes to binders themselves most are pretty boring or just standard binders
Prism Platinum do sell slim fit pages on the Australian website! I'm not sure if they're on the US one though. They have an extra pocket on the side where you can print little tabs that either match your own theme or the album/pc theme. The pc pockets are 62 x 93 mm
i use prism platinum pink binders for my taeyong collection and sadly they stopped stocking them 😢 ive messaged them about it and said they dont currently have plans to put them on the us site/restock so im not sure if we’ll ever get them back 😭 i was able to stack the search on mercari and find one for resale after a while but i wouldnt count on being able to get more than one anymore 💔
You can send me the sleeves cause I’ve been looking for them 😆 I think the owner of prism platinum is an army, if I’m not mistaken. I think the four pocket pages are also made for BTS mini pc.
Does someone knows the difference of the materials between the brands? bc in my case I prefer something easy to clean, and the Prism Platinum one is gorgeous, but im afraid the material might be delicate to do it
