Thank you!!! God bless. Sending out my old cards and getting my 3 CMP 100-210. Just like I wish on one of your earlier videos. After losing about %90 of my crypto due to lost keys and very bad news at the beginning of the year. Glad that our luck is turning around.
We’ve got a whole squad dedicated to turning these around ASAP. Kr00tman didn’t receive any special treatment here, in almost all cases we get the trades out within 1 business day and then UPS takes it from there. We’re in NY so total turnaround time is mostly based on how far from NY you are.
Yup as I said in the video I think location had more to do with it than anything. I also wish the adapters were not shipped plugged in, I was told they were going to make sure that wouldn't happen again.
@@kr00tman Super easy, they're open to some level of negotiation. But quantity is tight, and I think they've pretty much run through their stock so far with the offers they've sent out.
I did trade some of my gpus, too, and I also bought a few octo X12 from PCSP, but those octominer have a single 6 pin pcie to a single 6+2 and this gpu need two 8 pin, do you think if I put a 8 pin splitter its going to be Ok?
A good server case and blocking airflow in between the gpu so air has to go through the least resistance, hence through the heat sink will do better then getting a shroud. U could repaste but honestly not necessary. The paste in the cmp r longer lasting then any regular cpu paste u put on. But that’s my opinion.
I really like the Bits Be Trippin GPU channel. But the Business Practice of Bitpro about 2 years ago was really lower than low. Because i offered them a substantial number of open Box cards which i had purchased sealed for over$1000 a piece & all i received was a basically 10% of Retail Value low ball offer. You can guess what i did, simply said no to an unacceptable offer.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, but we make our offers based on what items currently sell for, not what people purchased them for. Anyone that bought items at the peak of the market in 2020-2021 and was looking to sell them in 2023 was in for a shock as to how much market prices had fallen, and that's something that is completely outside of our control. For buyouts we're basically offering 2/3rds of the current takeaway at average selling price on eBay. That's pretty much the formula. If we're offering 10% of what you paid, then the average selling price is now 15% of what you paid. We hate to be the bearer of bad news but that depreciation had nothing to do with us. Our service isn't for everyone anyway. If you've got a lot of GPUs to sell it saves an enormous amount of time and energy, and we've made friends traveling all around the country picking up mining farms over the past few years. Some people just don't have time to spend dozens of hours selling hundreds of parts and we help make that problem go away in one day with no nonsense and they're super happy about that. Now with our trade in program we're able to work with the smaller miners where the buyout offers usually don't make sense at that scale, and the response has been great.
Yup and I'm sure thats going to be some people's experience with the service, as it's based on the current market conditions. I still think it's a viable option to at least look into. If you don't like your offer don't trade them in
In a past life we used to, but we got burned so many times on them due to their extreme price volatility. The only way we can really make it work with ASICs as a business is if we make really low offers. Like really, really low. Like so low that people usually just get insulted because it's like a tiny fraction of what they paid. We tried sending those offers out for a bit, but no one went for it and it was just pissing people off....so we just stopped making the offers. If you're fine with an lowball though because you just want to get rid of them, just fill out the form on our site and let us know you're prepared to be insulted, and we'll see if we can make something work. Just don't say you weren't warned. 😀
