@@DasiaDoesIt I don't know you this is the first time seeing this channel, it just switched to something else I was watching where you said the drug addiction comes from shame all addiction from Shame I do believe people are shamed & but overall the people with addiction is trying to replace & fill avoid as the same as you just said about your sleeping & just different issues you have with your mind running & stuff like that I too have had some of the same issues the problem is not having YHVH, not seeking the LORD GOD YAHUAH & MESSIAH YAHUSHUA JESUS & putting YAHUAH in a 1st & foremost place inside & out as HE as Creator of all deserves & demands to be in a proper relationship & then that's the only necessary thing you can do if you keep ignoring YAH & this is for any person then you're gonna continue to be confused & voided on your inside I say this to help you respectfully, it's not worth going the hard head route! Ntm time is extremely short if ppl are not right they will die in their sins period! YAH is merciful truly grab on & seek repentance turning from the wrongs & seek forgiveness then walk with HIM! There is so much falsehood deception fake mess out here in the world only people who have had experience with the right way in the right way knows! It's not easy but necessary for life ! We have suffered on this earth, why not do it right & have eternity living with the Lord having perfect everything? You deserve that you've been through a lot of pain as I have. I know what it's like losing brother been 10 years & it still hurts! It's only one right way & the path is very very narrow. It's hard to figure out. I hope you choose the right choice for you self & your family.

I cried twice during this video, once when you mentioned finally moving out and buying your own house and when you had the vision of skating with your brother. It moved me a lot and touched my heart. I have heard of oaths of silence and vapassana but now I have a better understanding of it and I don’t think I will do any more research because I want to go in with neutral expectations. I plan to get it arranged right after I move out of my current situation in November on my birthday this year. I’m hoping it will set me off right. Thank you for sharing your experience

This is great. I could never explain it to friends and family, they all thought I would go away to a cult for 10 days. My life changed , flipped, after each 10 Day Vipassana, after a 10 day volunteer. I was fired from a job, toxic relationships ended suddenly, I lost my place and was two days from being homeless, and suddenly, I found a new home, and new friends, a new job. All came at the right time, and the housing came first and immediately, the rest came slowly. I look back at the person I once was and who I become after. I def liked myself better after Vipassana, and so did others. I would like to go back but it seems impossible to go now cause everything is booked and I cant get in. Goenka, in my head, shut the door on me cause i have never committed to the practice even though I have only love for it. Anyway thanks for making this video. It is a motivation to go to a retreat, go to a less booked center.

Gurll, I subscribed to this channel over a year ago to learn how to roller skate (and still haven't bc I haven't been consistent). But I've recently tuned into your other content and am blown away! I live in Thailand and attended a 21-day Vipassana December of last year (different format than yours, more individualized). Thank you for being so transparent about your experience. Being in Thailand, I meet many people who have attended but no one has said anything more about it other than they meditated all day. Just like yourself, I thought that's what I was going to learn to do and I received so much more! The description of it as a lifechanging experience is in no way an overstatement.

What you said about holding on tightly to the things/experiences that won't last forever -- I feel that way about my daughters. Everything has been to love and support them, to make sure they have what they need emotionally to make it in the world. In two years, I will have less self-imposed responsibilities. And yes, it seems as if things happen in threes. I can attest to that. God bless you, Sweet Lady of such wisdom.

I appreciated every minute of your video. I’m not working right now and this year I’ve been slowing down and practicing silence so much that I feel so aligned with your experience. Even as you mentioned the struggles you endured along the way, I knew it was just the pain body. Wow so cool to listen to your story and how the experience evolved. I also study this work intently, so it made me excited to learn from their theoretical perspective too. I was already sold on trying it myself when you first shared about it in the last video. I was listening to you from beginning to end…😎 I’ve been practicing Theravada Buddhism and meditation and haven’t been to any 10 day Vipassana retreats (maybe soon). Thank you for sharing feelings about your experience and how it benefits you daily (being more present, more patient, more kind, feeling lighter, and being less suffered from clinging to phenomenon (past or future) realizing that these are impermanent and not-self. 💙🙏💙 from Southern California.

Wow!! Thank you for sharing! I’m a seeker of growth/healing, I’ve gotten so much closer in the last year(s) but I know something just hasn’t cracked me yet. This sounds like something my soul is searching for. Not sure when I would be able to accommodate this, maybe I could plan for sometime next year especially as I will be turning 40. I like that you mentioned about learning to dance in the rain, I love that saying but I don’t think I’ve yet really learned how to really do it.

Thanks so much for sharing! I’ve started looking up one close to me and wanna do it closer to my birthday. I run towards opportunities like this to learn more about myself and just to become a better person. Your content is so refreshing because the healing journey feels sooo lonely. I be struggling working through my stuff while others seem to be just having the time of their lives in blissful ignorance. This kind of deep, DIFFICULT healing is not popular. How awesome that you experienced this! My youngest daughter is a teenager and if I did not listen or talk to her that would equal child abuse. I hope to do this in the future, maybe once she goes off to college or something like that. As a teenager, trauma sent me into silence. I mostly only spoke when spoken to but was not necessarily a vow of silence. I am so glad I subscribed and am so glad I found you.

Thank you for this beautiful video. I am definitely intrigued. I have toyed with the idea of a retreat for years but so many are cost prohibitive. The secular nature of this approach appeals to me too.

I totally understand ! I actually hate the thought of paying for spiritual awakenings you know? Something doesn’t sit right with me about paying for enlightenment which is why I was attracted to Vipassana. I don’t know if I mentioned this in the video, but this was completely free. If you do end up going, I’d love to hear your thoughts.❤️
