A neat challenge would be to try to get a single shiny pokemon in 3 different games. Like if you pick Caterpie you'd need to get it's shiny in 3 different games. Depending on how it goes it could be a best of 3 or something like that.

Fun fact: it was discovered last year that catch combos only affect the next spawn of the comboed Pokémon (odds peak at 31 but you have to keep the combo going to hold the odds), meaning that Bulbasaur only had the shiny charm and lure boosts.

my first shiny was a oddish in lets go pikachu but this stupid lady the rivals brother taught me how to play with my pikachu and i lost it then i got a dewgong in brilliant diamond then i realised that i had a shiny oddish in my box in lets go pikachu

@@Qiibli if it makes you feel better. I was hard resetting to get a shiny egg hatch from pokemon Silver and i accidently resetted on a shiny smoochum. Also, i battled a NPC with a shiny as well
