This is a misconception many people have. The elemental mastery gives his burst a much greater dmg boost in vape teams than the measly 200 atk. Yes the 15% atk are overall better, but just by a tiny bit. Childe is a quickswap char who doesn't stay on the field for long and a good Childe player always starts with a vaped burst. I'm not even 100% sure if the new artifact is better than the em one in vape teams. However in other teams the new one is definitely better.

@@te-jay6058 childe only vapes on his burst, the rest of the time he's normal and charged attacking and never vapes. I personally value crit over em for childe since his hydro application is too fast to vape on anything other than his burst. em is good for screenshot damage though

@@moomooha234 I compared the 2 artifacts in the video. + 200 atk vs the EM artifact and not a hypothetical crit artifact vs EM. Therefore your whole statement misses the point.

@@te-jay6058 between the 2 I think the new artifact is better old artifact: 42 to 103 em gives 10.9% more vape damage new artifact: 1883 atk to 2020 atk + 9.3 cv 10.9% increased vape damage on only his burst compared to 138 atk and 9.3 cv on his burst, normals, and charged attacks; I still believe the new artifact is better. Feel free to explain your reasoning on why the old one was better because I'm not a theorycrafter so I could be wrong.

4 piece heart of depth is his best artifact set and his best bows are like polar star and those standard banner 5 star bows plus rust and the bp bow if that makes sense

If u don't want to waste too much resin on domains you could also use 2pc Gladiator and 2pc noblesse/2pc HoD and 2pc Gladiator(My Gladiator set is the only good pieces I have for childe so I kinda have to use it)
