You are looking at $360 (aud) worth of 2ds and standard DS consoles, all sold as faulty either online or in store. The special edition 2DS's cost the most in the batch, but are also worth the most once fixed so it should pay off.

Those 2ds’s seem to get beat up more then a normal 3ds. Getting faulty 2ds’s seems to have potential as a good beginner console. I currently just need to clean the circle pad area on one and maybe another one too

Built like a brick, treated like a brick. Definitely easier then dealing with a hinged console, just gotta remember to not rip off the camera cable

Where can I source the screen lens for a 2ds? And how comparable is it to the stock lens?

I got all the lens from 1 supplier on AliExpress. They came well packed, no scratches and they have adhesive on already which is good. I do think the red one is a slightly different colour to the stock red.

tried with oil on the side of the hinges or is it something you shouldn't do?

I did use a little bit of WD-40 which is a lubricant, it helped to make it open and close easier but it’s still stuck in there. Still waiting for the new shell to arrive

Hello! I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but anyway :v I have a DSi with orange light but no blue light. F1 on power board was blown and i made a jumper on it. Still having the same issue. Any tips on were i can look to fix this DSi?

Is the orange light solid or blinking?

@@chickenmaster121 was solid. But i did a reflow on the the Power IC and It came back to life. Now It turns on but the top screen is now white

@@chickenmaster121 Just to update: The screen was fine, it was just a loose conection. I reassembled it yesterday and now is working just fine. It won't read games, but it installed CFW so that's not a issue. But the nice thing to learn is; If F1 on the power board is fine, check the Power IC.
