Has no sense that no one can recreate this sounds 13 years after, the technologies in that time were more limitated, and skrillex did this alone, its so incredible, skrillex is from another planet.
it can be replicated easy there are tons of tutprials about it but if u are a musician u know is already skrillex mark to do music like he does and someone who would do the same would be called a copy cat
Dude, I remember blasting all Skrillex 24/7 and everyone thought I was on drugs. Now I still blast Skrillex and everyone still thinks I'm on drugs. Moral of the story: Skrillex is timeless. And I don't do drugs.
Skrillex Is a massive break or Advance in the world of dubstep & mainstream made music, His unique and experiment -like dubstep with prevalent music tastes got him skyrocketing. Trying to get out of a Gatekeeper genre. I Found dubstep (when Skrillex was climbing the ranks of mainstream popularity) the music around the genre wasn't making the development leep as Skrillex was. Artists like Excision, Flux Pavilion, zeds dead and whoever more Just keep with the same groundwork. Which definitely gave the genre and Bumble effect and everything just went around in a circle with no-where else to connect Also, people's perspectives/visions on dubstep weren't getting better. People thought of dubstep as "more electronic music". Everyone thought it was something else and not it's own. I do think when people when through the acceptance of the dubstep genre. people still had it Classified it's like a "sub-genre". Which bottlenecked the potential of the style of music. And I think Skrillex Helps with that. Giving the impression that it has its own weight. you know? In that. . . His music is catchy and very digestible to listen to I mean. A lot of dubstep music is a bone to chew on. It's every distinct and odd. It isn't generic to mainstream music. liking dubstep isn't a genre you can smoothly sink into. finding the right style, artist, music is something that can have people turn away from it. as there is no set style. blablabla I'm just glad I grew up without the dogshit people call music today. and times where music wasn't just a huge dumpster fest. know what the origin of what something that has grown is awesome and a sight, very nostalgic
@@chiragparjan definitely, he focused on the build up, the drop and heavy saturated bass. Totally changed what dubstep was at the time, and it's not the same imho
The first time I heard about him, it changed my life, never heard anything like this, ever. One of those rare moments in history, where you actually get to see the evolution of music. Great times.
I first heard this song at a rave and I fell absolutely in love with it. That was literally over 11 years ago and I'm so excited that I found this song again.
2017 and there still isn't music like this anymore this is simple but great. Skrillex needs to start making music like this again. The bass sounds and bass growls are just so unique.
I was only 14 when I discovered this song for the first time (it was new released) and I was blown away by this style of music, you had to be there when dubstep took over the industry !!!!!!
@@ashwin9218 ikr....it makes me feel so sad...that he doesn't put out that much and it is not punchy and energetic like his songs from 2010s...anyways, I love him ❤️❤️😭😭
Man I never comment, but I don’t know what other video on RU-vid from nearly 14 years ago has me standing in the kitchen with a huge smile on my face. This drop is just so incredible and I remember hearing this after about a year of listening to other songs but for some reason this one seemed mythical. This comment goes out to all of those in future years who stumble across. Skrillex proved what we could do with the help of technology and demonstrated the skill and detail of a human brain/imagination.
*plays this song for mom 5 years ago* Mom: Son this is pretty good stuff.. I always love your non-trashy taste in music *1:26* Mom: What is this song anymore?
Out of the thousands of thoughts I had today, the memory of listening to this song in my room when I was at high school(30 this year) come on in, I had to play this banger, 2024!! This man then, and now is unmatched. Growing up with his music over the years, I’m eternally grateful Skrillex 🫳🏽
ZODIVK Yeah I wish I could relive the experience of discovering dubstep for the first time. If only I could remember the first song I ever liked. It might have been Bar9 - Machine Gun 16bit remix And first Skrillex song was probably Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites or his remix of Cinema :)
Skrillex was creating insane dubstep like this, that’s still completely relevant and up to date today.... more than 10 years ago. Absolute masterpiece.
Dude, I remember blasting all Skrillex 24/7 and everyone thought I was on drugs. Now I still blast Skrillex and everyone still thinks I'm on drugs. Moral of the story: Skrillex is timeless. And I do drugs.
It wouldn't surprise me if he did get a bit burned out on these tracks, playing them night after night for a few years (he famously played 300+ shows in 2011 alone). Guy needed to branch out and experiment or else he might have gone off music completely.
There's no changing my mind... Skrillex during this time period was an absolute BEAST. His dubstep was just on another level... I mean, this is literally the shit that brought dubstep and basically the entire EDM scene into the mainstream in the US.
