This is so timely! Some of your previous feelings are so relatable. In my 30s and girl this is not what I envisioned my life to be when I was younger. You are blessed to have supportive friends around you. Personally am at that point where if you ask me to mention just 5 close friends except my husband I WILL STRUGGLE. Am starting all over to do things I like, venturing into RU-vid, entrepreneurship etc. The punchline for me, God's got it, it is going to be okay and even great!

I have started my life over multiple times (I make bad choices!). Knowing that you can do it, and it's fine and it's not a step backwards but the start of a new adventure, takes away all the fear that comes with it. Embrace the change. You never know where it's going to lead!

This was very comforting. Not in a way that i am happy for these negative stuff that happen to you but in a way that I for the first time thought to myself if I was married now and had kids would I be happy? is that what i really want right now? being 28 coming also from an asian background i feel this pressure to reach this "goal" soon. But now seeing this video it made me think if I even want that right now or maybe i am not ready for it. Thank you for this video.

My sister always makes a question to me and to herself every year: if the 15 y/o u was looking to how your life is today, would she be proud? Last year I was on the clouds! Had the profession I always dreamed about (I’m a doctor), had a great relationship and was happy. Turning 30 this year and at January my life took a 360! And the 15 y/o me would NOT be proud of me right now, but that made me feel uncomfortable enough to make changes. It is not easy… there are days where I just cry until I scream, but everyday gets less hard. ❤

This really got me thinking... on the surface, it sounds like you had all the plans to live out your life’s dreams and chose the route most travelled (motherhood, marriage) instead. Kids and marriage are absolutely a blessing when it’s right for someone but, it sounds like you wonder what life would have been had you chased your dreams instead. I hope you still are able to see what that’s like nonetheless.

Im going through this. My ex and i of 6 years kind of broke up, he is dating someone else but he still reaches out to tell me he misses me from time to time. I pray to God to reconcile our relationship because i know he is my man. We cannot not talk to eachother. :( ! Also... I have a friend named Madia and we pray and call every single day too. I'm 29! She is 27. I pray tbat God 's plan be revealed for me in my life too.

What is your experience with divorce coming from a Christian/ immigrant background? My family and a friend know my situation and agree divorce is an option for me (despite my family being very Christian). I am still practicing and I struggle feeling guilty that my reason isn't good enough (based on the reasons listed in the Bible), it's been very confusing and frustrating. My story is that I ended up in a marriage when i should've said no long ago to being with this person, almost everyone around me was against it too. Somehow though I kept this idea to persist, possibly because I saw my parents go through worse and they stayed together even though they absolutely should divorce but our religion and culture makes it difficult. I even feel guilt thinking about being in another marriage and if it'd be a sin that I moved on/ if some karma would come back to me for the choices I made, even if those choices made my life better. I'd really like to know your perspective, I heavily resonated with this video. Im currently 23 and although we can redeem ourselves at any age, I'd really like to make the right choices sooner than later to decrease difficulties in the future.
