Seems to be a very luxurious and impressive Mediterranean styled hotel. The Bellagio Fountains look beautiful. I have fountains in my back garden, they only rise to 5½. feet.
I absolutely love the two full bathrooms. Two people can get ready at once and it would solve a lot of possible angst when getting ready to go out. That’s pure luxury in my book. Thanks for the tour, Tim!
100%. He reviews it like a normal person because, well, he is. While luxurious experiences are often very nice, poke around anywhere and you'll find issues beyond the surface
A very impressive hotel. I think they ought to provide a map for ease of navigating everywhere, and perhaps a scooter for getting around! (Would be rather fun!) The third bathroom may be for if you took a guest to your room they would not have to use either of the en suites. Some compensation for the damage to your bag would not have been unreasonable. I rather liked and was impressed with the arrowhead sliding sidebar which you included for the various facts.
my partner and i love watching your videos together! we play a game as to how often you say ‘gutted’ in a video, we absolutely love it! thank you for being a treasure!
I can’t wait for this one, Tim! I've always wanted to stay here, so it will be great to see your preview! Thanks for all the great videos, even through the flu!!!
Daughter got married on the balcony over looking the fountains. My Son asked if he could walk my daughter from the room to the balcony. When he reached us he said dad ive never been so embarrassed. He said when we walked out of lift. The whole of the Casino went silent and stood up and applaud us until we reached the balcony lol. Balcony was over your right shoulder at the end Tim. We also had 3 displays of the fountains thrown in. And they asked if they wanted to jump in. But she looked at daughters dress and said thats not an American dress so maybe be not lol.
Nice room; powder room for guest and his & hers bathrooms😊 Been in casino several times but never stayed in the hotel. In the US major hotels have conference areas or event spaces that organizations / business can rent out for training, seminars, workshops, ext. they can also be used for weddings. The rooms can connect to increase the space.
Hi Tim - So nice to see the inside of The Bellagio again. Steve Wynn is responsible for bringing class and luxury to the next level when he arrived in Vegas with building the recently torn down The Mirage followed by The Bellagio. Both of which he sold to move on and build The Wynn followed by Encore. He purposely wanted to get away from the overtly busy central tourist trap that the strip had become to build even more upscale. Wynn made his initial fortune, before his visions and arrival in Las Vegas, by becoming the top bingo parlour owner everywhere on the east coast when he took over from his father and built the business up. With MGM managing the Bellagio, you can tell it lost a bit of the high end that is the signature of Steve Wynn. Though the display in the Observatory was very nice, it is just OK compared to how elaborate it was when Wynn owned it. When you were in the shopping corridor, you passed by Spago restaurant owned by famous Los Angeles chef Wolfgang Puck with the original Spago being in Beverly Hills. With Wynn the very high end restaurant that used to be there was called Picasso as in the painter. Why? Because Wynn had on the walls, his collection of genuine Picassos. After selling the two above hotels, he also sold his art collection. 😊
When I saw the ground floor foyer and corridors, it reminded me of The Atlantis in Dubai. I don’t enjoy staying in hotels where there’s hundreds of people milling/walking around and long queues to check in and have breakfast. A good informative video as always Tim 👏
Some of the places you go to Tim are just a dream to some people. As one of those people, thank you. Your videos give us a chance to live vicariously through you. Always look forward your vids. 😊
The cost for this was shocking, two of us are staying at the Luxor with flights included for several hundred dollars less for 7 days! Now I know the room isn't anywhere close to this one at the Bellagio, but wow.
Been to vegas a few times (niece used to live outside of LV) and we thought the Bellagio the best hotel. We used to get a regular room overlooking the fountains. Obviously nothing like that price lol. Not been for about 10 years now. Love the carpets !
Another awesome video!!!! Yes that place is amazing. Wooooooo laaawd that bill made me light headed. 3 bathrooms so you don't have to smell your own ...... I hope you complained about that nice bag they ruined. And yes you walked past both pool entrances. Also. The MGM app gives you keyless access to everything and it works well when it works.
The Encore is my favorite. The best thing about the Bellagio is the public spaces. The gardens, the fountain and a couple of restaurants. Wynn himself regretted building the fountain in front of the hotel because a gave such a nice view to other hotels not just his.
The two bathrooms for each getting ready to go out and third for guest to keep your privacy when heading to a nice restaurant or clubbing. Suites are also used for Bachelorette or bachelor parties, weddings get ready.
Returned from Vegas a week ago and stayed at the MGM Grand .. no long queues for check as you check in 24 hours before you arrive through their app.. then scan QR code once your there recieve key cards automatically and away you go .. on leaving check out in your room via tv and drop key cards in box in the lobby 👍
Ime and my husband at the time we ate now divorced 😢, went to Los Vegas back in 2003 to the strip, went to alot of hotels there, and the grand canyon amd the down town but we didn't see this hotel, as we didnt have time to see them all but I wish I did, we stayed in the Hilton which is just off the strip. Lovely hotel and seeing the strip brings back memories. Thanks for the tour Tim.
I've stayed at the luxor. Went to Vegas in 2003. The strip is huge. Went and looked at the bellagio hotel which was amazing. It's scary that you have to book a month in advance for restaurants. Really enjoying the American vlogs.
Love to see them (the posh hotels), Tim. I'd also like to see a standard room in some of the hotels and sometimes a really cheap hotel, too. Keep up the good work! 👍
Tim please try Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, Taj Lake palace in Udaipur, Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra, Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur, Leela palace in New Delhi, The Imperial in New Delhi etc......
I’ve stayed at several in Vegas. I have not stayed at the Bellagio but would love to. I always loved the Mirage. Comfy beds and smaller, quieter. I like staying at the Palazzo. The rooms are huge and used to be reasonably priced. I loved spending the day at their pool.
I stayed in this room a few years ago, but it was a fountain view and we had a connecting room too. It was lovely for 3 nights, came with a limo as well back then
In 2016 my wife and I spent 2 weeks in the Bellagio to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversay ,we stayed in one of there special disabled rooms with a Surehands lift ,bought our meals in several places .Those were the days cost including airflight on Virgin Airways Total cost was £5000
Eugh I think I would have made my escape, you kind of expect that in that place you and Gabi and Casper stayed i.e the sun cheap caravan holiday, but not a hotel in this calibre. As per usual a good video Tim.
love the penthouse there, always nice. The price you paid is very high. we pay around 1200 USD a night if you sign up to there rewards. Good video nice to see it being shown.
I'm watching this on silent while listening to Gaby singing live at The Dock Tavern. The best of both worlds! She has an excellent voice. Special message for you Tim from me if she forgets 😆
I really liked your room, at the beginning i was thinking about all that walking and thought can you imagine getting to your room and the key card doesn't work " then it happened to you. Shame you couldn't dine in one of the restaurants in the evening. I personally wouldn't have paid for coffee in the morning, i would have asked reception for tea and coffee to have in the room . Great video Tim as always.
Jeez Tim, that's a helluva price for one night! Last time we stayed in Vegas we stayed at the Trump international hotel, just off strip but a fantastic hotel. We booked the entire holiday through British Airways, had return flights from Edinburgh, a Two bedroom luxury suite & a huge SUV, for four people for a week for the princely sum of £3975.00!(I looked it up) That was back in 2019. Don't you think that flights and hotel accommodation have sky rocketed since the pandemic? I certainly do! Good honest review as usual, nice one!👍👏👏👏♥️🏴🇺🇸
Tim, you can clean the bag up when you get home, I wipe mine all the time to keep it clean!,also I use a shoe, clothes protector, which I just spray on and let it dry, then when you wipe marks off, it comes off easily. You can buy the protector spray from all camping shop's like millets, mountain warehouse etc, you use it on walking shoes, trainers, outdoor clothing, hooded fleeces ,just about all fabrics you want to protect against dirt and it makes them waterproof too!, best product I've ever used!
Those rooms are used a lot by businesses. They have all day meetings in the room, food is brought in, then they go out at night. That is an explanation for so many bathrooms. And chances are, the TV in the room pulls out from the wall so you can rotate it towards the bed
I went there for dinner after my friends got married out there back in Dec 2005 it was all done up for Christmas and looked fantastic 🤩 🎄 Loved that room! 😍 I stayed in Circus Circus 🎪 when I was there, enjoyed your vlog on that too! I keep meaning to tell you the “fancy hangers” are for lingerie, because they are more delicate items and usually silk/lace so they would have special hangers for those 😊
I remember walking through the hotel to get to the Vdara and getting completely lost but once I found the walkway to it it was so empty it was surreal especially as its just past the casino floor.
Tim, I think the third bathroom may be for any guests visiting with you in your room and assuming two people are checking in to the room they both have their own loo. I would love it!
We were there a year after they opened. The upgrades are nice. Agree with the long walk to the rooms. It was a little difficult at 5am after a long night of drinking and gambling.
Tim I'd have made a big fuss about the bag, they ruined it and for what you're paying that's not good enough! Why did you let them get away with that? I CBA with all that walking so I'd not want to stay anywhere like that & I can't abide tower blocks. So not for me at all but always an education with you!
Tim, with the Friday is the worst day to check in because you have all the weekend travelers. You have so many meetings there. I have been to several myself.
Ive been to Vegas once.. IMO thats enough for a lifetime.. Everything is so expensive 23 USD plus Taxes and Tip(!) for a 350ml cocktail.. jeeeez Even a beer in a can will be 8-9 Bucks..
Can you imagine sitting in the hotel restaurant minding your business and having a British guy with a camera walk by and loudly say "that's very civilized... for Vegas" 😂
Loved the tour at Bellagio so big and beautiful and I would like to stay there when in Vegas. The suite was very expensive and did not like the oversized fountains in the pools either.
I go to Vegas at least once a year and have stayed in many of the hotels on the strip. I agree the Wynn is probably the nicest over all but my personal favorite is the Cosmo any of their rooms with a terrace are amazing. there is nothing like coming back to your room after a long day of walking and drinking and relaxing on the terrace and just soaking it all in. Personally I have never been a big fan of the Bellagio.
We Stood and Did Our Ocean's Eleven Moment, Watching Those Beautiful Fountains, Back in 2007. But Our Accommodations, Were At Circus Circus !! We Had Our Kids There. Memories of Our Rental Car Being a Black Mustang and Saying "Vegas Baby, Yeah !!" About a Million Times !! 🇳🇿🍸🎪🧳🎲💰🎉🔷️🔶️🙃
@@WalkWithMeTim I'm not one for complaining but it looked like they rolled your bag in coal and with all the fees and such in Vegas a waving the resort fee is the bare minimum. $50 per night resort fees are one of the reasons I don't go to Vegas
The Bellagio? That's a Terry Benedict casino. I'll remember to take some plastic hangers. Hotels never really have enough of them. The hotel's too big for my liking. But I'd pop in for the breakfast buffet and watch the fountain show. Resort fees? Hate 'em. I gather the avoidance trick is to charge everything to the room. Nice review.
I think the rooms look really beautiful. Not sparse at all. There is two giant pools with no little fountains so you don’t have to go in those if you don’t want to? I don’t think you really gave reasons for not liking property because they aren’t exactly issues you had with the place. So just confused by your final thoughts.
