We have been working hard and selling lots of flower bouquets down at the farmers market so far this year, but this week we want to sell even more. This is the peak of the Ranunculus production, plus other flowers like Snapdragons, Peonies, and Feverfew are coming online for us. There are so many bouquets this week that we have a chance to break our record for best farmers market ever! This is our 4th year farming, and every year the business has grown, but by next year we need to be profitable, so our sales numbers need to continue to grow to new heights. Will we break our all time farmers market sales record of $1580 by bringing a massive amount of rainbow Ranunculus bouquets, and beautiful $40 arrangements? You have to watch to find out. Congrats ! But Yikes i’m a broken record but a knee high table to have the flowers show more than the buckets and paper would be great. Here’s an idea, you could use your green metal pull wagon, it would look authentic etc. I’m in architecture and interior design, so your’e getting premium free design consulting right there ;) Also the door to the roadside stand could be red, keeping with your name, and lettering of your logo on the fence could be bolder. I’d put greenery or colourful fake bouquet of flowers (waxed paper to be eco friendly ? Fabric ?) You gotta catch attention, of course tastefully.

You should start a volunteer based class on fridays where you teach others to make bouquets. They get to take one home and you get all your bouquets made for the market.

I think for visual purposes it would be helpful to have a tier lower than the table at the farmers market, like a bench or something. So that people can see the beautiful flowers from above!! there are folding benches on amazon that look exactly like your folding tables but bench height

I was thinking the same! Totally agree. 3 tier stad will be even more colorful and vibrant as you will see bouques lower - where colors will be seen further away from the stand. And even at the stand (telling as a short person).

I agree with this, a lot of florists in the U.K. have lower tables/benches so you can see as you approach

Yes agree, and I know red roof is your theme, but I wondered if the red tint from your pop up kind of mutes the beautiful flower colors? I wonder if a more neutral pop up might allow the flower colors to show up better?

Gorgeous! If you also did bouquets that were “mixed cool” vs “mixed hot” colors, in addition to the full rainbow, I think I’d have to get three bouquets just to see what I like best!. 💐 😀

Love all the work you do! Maybe with the darker purple ranunculus' you should do a peacock inspired bouquet? Different shades of greenery, the blue bachelor buttons, purple ranunculus and maybe feverfew for a pop of white/yellow?

Soooo happy for you! You deserve it after all the work you put into this! Your flowers are always beautiful! A little marketing hint if you wish too. Would be to get a large ink stamp of your logo for your paper wrap. People would see the stamp when others are walking around the market with flowers. Also it’s too cute of a logo to not put it everywhere 😂 best wishes to do even better next week 💐

Have you thought of setting your display up as a 'U' at the market, it would allow you to move around the center to serve people, but would still allow customers time and room to look over everything and make a decision... I personally hate stalls where I am waiting for others in front of me, cannot see all the goods and then once you are being served to have to make instant decisions... just a thought!

I notice you guys have to wheel flowers around a lot. Considering the extra steps, is there any way you could make an opening doorway from your workroom directly into or opposite your refrigerator unit? It should be a direct line from field to refrigerator to cutting room/bouquet workshop with as few steps between as possible. Just a thought. And CONGRATULATIONS on your sales! Yes, the bright colors are pretty stunning - big attention grabbers - BUT! I personally LOVE the dark burgundy ranunculus - that bouquet at about 20:15 with all burgundy ones and the tiny pink and white flowers, with the buds hovering above it all, and the delicate greenery... Beautiful! 🥰❤

Everything looks amazing!! Have you thought about lowering the shelves a bit more at the market? From up front, it seems like the buckets take up a lot of the visual space. If the shelves were a bit lower, people would have more chance at seeing the bouquets directly.

I love the dark purple ranunculus... especially in the rainbow bouquets. They offset the pink really well and make the brighter colours pop. I think they’d be missed if they weren’t in those bouquets

You are burning your candles at both ends. Serena´s body will give out if she continues staying up all night once a week...Can´t you get someone to help with the harvesting so she can dedicate her energy to the bouquets? We DO want you to continue, but the way it is going....

I like your channel because you’re so honest and showed every aspect of a floral business. I quit my job 3 years ago and started selling African violets. My experience is very similar to yours and I couldn’t believe that I am making more money than my previous jobs. The more rare varieties of flowers I get, the more money I make.
