375 will become cheaper if you travel with 7 people.... 53.57 dollars per Night for 7 people.... more or less 3k per night per person for a Unique Experience..... not bad at all instead in staying in a 5 star hotel.
Take note, the guy stayed in a secluded place, away from the crowd and they only have a few cottages, hence, the price. Not everything in Southeast Asia is cheap so not every place is for everyone. It's a matter of financial capability. But compare $375 to the rates at one of the world's most expensive and most exclusive resorts which is Amanpulo in Palawan where a Casita ranges from $1,249 to $2,257 per night while a Villa ranges from $3,200 to $7,395. Banwa Private Island, which used to be the most expensive resort in the world also located in Palawan cut its nightly rate from $100,000 to $45,000. Well, it's no longer the most expensive resort but I don't think even billionaire and philantropist Warren Buffett would waste his money by spending a night there.
Going to Palawan next week, not so much into that kind of luxury, I spend my money on all day fishing trips🎣🐟. Grouper and snapper, dorado and tuna and a BBQ sunset is my jam. Glad you enjoyed it buddy.
Thank you for your blog and promoting our beloved country to the whole world . Welcome and seems your enjoying your vacation in that island. Be safe and once again thank you .
This is the real nice bloggers, not the ones who negatively say things first and then patch it up with mere words of appeasement! They'll injure you first and then patch it up after! Damage has been done, no matter what! 🤨🤨🤨
At 16 years of age, flew on a Flying Tiger with artillery behind me, I was in Subic Bay for three months in 79'. All I did was play golf during Monsoons. My accommodations were free ~
This is what puzzles me most. Why some vloggers or tourists would rather walk around the ugliest streets of manila for vlogging when there are places like this.
i love this. he paid $375 a night. meanwhile the neighbors get it for free... just kidding, it's a beatiful place. i'm jealous.. but for real, i wish i was born there, how lucky to wake up everyday in that place.. Blessing a 💯% indeed...
I highly recommend you to go to french Polynesia. Bora pra, moorea Islands. They have the most amazing floating sea hotels. There's no comparison to this crappy place. 😅
Just like any other countries, there's cheap and there's expensive in the Philippines. $375 is nothing compared to $45,000 nightly rate at Banwa Private Island in Palawan. They actually cut their rate from $100,000 during the pandemic.
I see a lot of comments saying that he was ripped for the price of $375/night. While in Phils standards, that's not cheap, doesn't mean he got a "foreigner" tag for it. It actually depends on where you're staying. If you did not watch the whole vid, it was mentioned it's good for 5 people. Dividing the room rate to 5, will get you down to $75 per head and for this experience, it's more than fair - commodities are high everywhere and to run operations like this one is expensive. Don't make it as if our locals would cheat the first chance they get.
