@@bobitboo2792 I didn't know having a birthday theme is a thing. My birthdays never had a theme, neither did my friend's birthdays. Is that a US thing or everyone does it?
@@bobitboo2792 most parents in the US where themed parties are popular just give their kids theme suggestions like princess or pirate or something and then the kids choose the specific princess but I’ve never heard of kids actually getting to choose their own unique theme before because it’s more difficult to get decorations, cakes and party favour stuff for
In latinamerica is common to have a theme (not as elaborate cus money ofc) so usually the theme is reflected is the piñata (and boy if people get creative with those)
@@SugarGeekShow sorry if this sounds ignorant; I’m new to your channel and know you do hyper-realistic cakes. But you mentioned “fresh pressed flowers.” Were they real flowers that you ate or hyper-realistic? Beautiful cake, btw!
Believe it or not there are a lot of flowers you can actually grow and eat. You don't really have to eat the flowers that are labled edible u csn grow some in ur garden that are edible
That was my first thought..beautiful cake, but where’s the one they’ll eat? She said it was delicious?! I hate fondant, so anything else I’m willing try. I believe her.
@@seekittycatan idea you could try is you can candy or pickle some flowers for decoration via a similar method of tanhulu or put some edible flowers into a mason jar and in some sweet syrup / sugar and rose water a few days and that should improve the flavor a bit. Cherry blossoms and lavender in agar agar for the transparent layer in a desert is pretty popular abroad lately.
It's so cool to the extravagant things people do for their kiddos birthdays. If I ever have kids I kinda want to do this for them at least a couple times 😂 Although, I'm happy with the birthdays I got. They would order CAKE, make yummy homemade food, and love me extra.
There are tons of edible flowers out there you have no idea! Pansies, violas, dandelion, echinacea, chamomile, roses, violets, calendulas...i could go on! They are used to garnish fine desserts, salads, cakes, used for teas....some have great health benefits. Not sprayed with pesticides of course. And before you consider eating a flower or putting it on or around food check with multiple sources to confirm it is food safe
Good to know I’m not the only one that likes the flowers and space aesthetic. It’s like this symbolism of life, death and eternity and how vast and wide this entire universe is.
Everything about this is the coolest ! The young girl thought up a brilliantly unique idea, asked for it in party/cake form & you completely did the coolest thing I think the world ? Has ever seen 😅 seriously beautiful in every way. Just wow
That girl is lucky to have a mom like you!❤ I have an aunt who always knitted my baby clothes, then sewed me beautiful dresses, and made cakes for my birthday. It’s a treasure having someone in your family who can make priceless thoughtful gifts.
