you definitely did the right thing by speaking your mind and telling him that you aren’t satisfied with your hair i mean you had every right to complain and i’m proud of you that you had the courage to do it. i’m so sorry by the way he treated you, you definitely do not deserve it at all. he was just really bad at taking criticism and that had nothing to do with you at all. he should have handled it more professional. i’m so proud of how far you’ve came already ❤

Half way through, dont know if you have already found a way on your own by now, but for me I keep all my photos on Google photos, I have them all backed up and saved from age 16 (I'm 23 now for reference) changed phones many times throughout those years and they never upload to my new phone itself but they are there if I ever want to look back at them for memories i can just log in to my Google photos account. Hope this helps even just for the future xx

How rude of him, everyone would feel the same. I wear extensions because of my hair loss issues and it’s not ok for extensions to be like that and when I don’t have my hair in I stress so much. Xx
I have a very hard time asking for refund or saying I'm not satisfied with a service because I'm afraid of the reactions I would get, just like the one you got. But seeing you going through a situation like this and sharing your vulnerability helped me so much. I felt comfortable seeing that there are other people going through similar situations and I'm not alone. It's completely normal to have ups and downs since we are human beings and our emotions are not linear. Thank you for sharing this with us. As for the awful service you got; I would recommend leaving a bad review and/or you could go there with someone by your side for emotional support and talk to someone who is actually a decent human being. You have every right to ask for a refund and they need to apologize for the poor service and reactions. I hope you'll have a wonderful day.
I got a perm done earlier this year and was looking for like... Julia Roberts Pretty Woman sort of vibes, Natasha Lyonne, early SJP in Sex and the City that sort of thing. I had shown the woman pictures and everything, she knew I never had a perm before and said she had been doing them for 20 years so I trusted her. Ended up with 3c spiral curls, and contrary to Legally Blonde perms don't just wash out, I tried! She also blunt cut my hair while it was still straight so it looked really intense. I ended up crying for ages, and vented to my mum and she rang the salon the next day (I know lol, not very skilful of me to have my mum do it) and the stylist told her that if she hadn't done that the perm would have come out in 2-3 months which isn't good value and what I wanted was only achievable with tong curling (not true 🙃). Why not say all this to me before doing it and giving me something I don't want?? So violating. She's lucky it was my mum speaking to her and not me because that made me so fucked off to hear, like how dare she take away choices from me about my own body??? Anyway, the main hairdresser there who is my usual hairdresser cut my hair for free into a more flattering shape but the only way to fix it would have been chemical straightening which was the same amount I just had paid for the perm and further damage to my hair. You're so brave for confronting that stylist yourself and for regulating yourself after it didn't go according to plan ❤ also 6 months later and my perm has relaxed a fair bit and I got it cut into a bob which looks a lot cuter and is easier to straighten. But never again lmao.
That's foul marie , make sure to tell everyone you know what happened. He's gonna lose customers. You have thousands of people who love you. Do t be afraid to play dirty cause everyone else does.
Marie, I had a similar situation (with my hair color though). You feeling humiliated (i get it) is probably them feeling „humiliated“ in their work pride or sth and projecting it onto you. You had the FULL RIGHT to demand for a refund - and it should be their DUTY to acknowledge THEIR mistake/incompetence (which is really hard for quite a few people😅🤪). You deserved the refund of course. I hope you can sort it out how you like it soon - you look amazing anyways 🥰

Name and shame that hairdresser or go to the manager honestly, sorry they were so rude to you! Extensions definitely haven't been done right if they're coming out a bit after 1st wash and you deserve better especially for the price.
