@@Gayghosts My thoughts exactly! My question is why the DClass were terminated to begin with. Why not just give them an actual shot of long term amnestic that made them forget they'd already completed their term. Then when they woke up the next day, they'd be greeted with, "welcome to your first day...." Cruel, but better than a bullet to the head, or, in this case, a new name with a new personality to match.
He is probably given strong amnestics and put in his role as D class for 3 more months and told the same story over and over again, until he dies . Termination is also possible depending on would the foundation waste their test subjects.
Foundation : "Our potential D-class must destroy the letter we send them. They are in jail, but it is easy. They just have to throw it in the toilet, or even shred in tiny pieces with their hand." The narrator : *eat the letter
Imagine you survive all one hundred days and you just have one more experiment Scientist: Please look at this picture and tell me what you see? D class: I see a white face, what the hell is tha… Hears horrific screams in the distance
It's kind of sad that the innocent guy got the short end of the stick. If Foundation really wanted to though, no matter how crazy high up that murderer was or pulled whatever strings, he would be brought down easily. If Foundation really wanted to, the actual murderer would be captured. But i suppose not every story has a happy ending. This is so true for SCP.
@@Neopolitan2024 I’m sure some have, by sheer luck and with the aide of outside organizations but it’s probably happened. Maybe he could’ve been picked up by chaos if they raided?
@@lazynomad3956 actually its more likeley to not be killing their mind but rather trapping them inside of the amulet, which can be well seen in the 682 vs bright fight and which is hinted at by some other scp tales
Pretty sure that the foundation’s “cold, not cruel” policy hasn’t actually been the case for a long time. I still remember the first video I’ve seen on this channel, told from the perspective of a low level researcher. He’d been an unemployed nobody brought into the foundation as a “favor” by an uncle who seemingly always hated him and considered him a loser, and ended with the revelation that the test with SCP 173 which destroyed him and a team of D-Class put under his supervision had been ordered by said uncle. Clearly the “job” he was given had always been an indirect way of murdering the poor guy. After seeing the beginning of *this* video, it honestly doesn’t surprise me that the foundation is straight up framing people for horrendous crimes to get new members of D-Class. Considering how quickly they burn through those guys, it makes sense they’d eventually start to run low on actual death row inmates and would just start to make some. I’m guessing that with all the seemingly unstoppable world ending anomalies that the foundation knows about (the deer, the devourer of worlds, the hard to destroy reptile, the entity described in the SCP 5000 videos, the scarlet king, etc), the higher ups of the foundation would have lost all hope of ever really keeping humanity safe. Their “containment” efforts on those horrible monsters are essentially the foundation either stalling or pretending the problem isn’t there because they can do literally nothing else. On top of that, many of the “tests” they’ve run in recent videos seem pretty pointless and unnecessarily dangerous. Some of the more sadistic, hedonistic and just generally screwed up higher ups of the foundation (O-5 Council included) might just be collectively thinking “Hey, humanity’s f***ed no matter what. May as well throw a whole bunch of D-Class into the meat grinder just to see how many horrific ways that they can die. Have some fun with it, y’know?”
There is a cake anomaly that doubles either regrows or makes another version of itself every 24 hours depending if it was eaten or not. The thing about this anomal is that it's keter and apparantly D-Class can serve out their sentence without being terminated if they continue to the eat the cake. Day 512 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.
The proper way to survive as a D-class is to make it known your willingness to become a permanent member of the team. Maybe you'll be upgraded to Class C researcher, MTF, or, if you're really lucky, the janitor. But you can never leave. Once Foundation personal, always Foundation personal.
I wouldn't mind being Dr. Bright, as long as I get to keep some of the eccentric I was before I become the new eccentric I will be then...what if Dr. Bright actually has the memories of the people he became, but was wise enough to not talk about it and keep it a secret so he could keep his position? I mean, seriously, did no one ever touch the medallion before Dr. Bright did? Seems a stretch...it could very well be that the medallion had already transferred its consciousness BEFORE Dr. Bright died from Able.
My personal headcannon is that every D-Class is actually a clone of someone. It explains why they keep their origins secret, and why we only ever get specifics on them during stories like this; when it's from their point of view. It also explains how, despite losing literally millions at a time, they always seem to have more 😮
All I'm thinking about is how painful it would be to write on a concrete wall with metal. Chalk screeching on a board is bad enough, that is just torture.
First a gambler and now an innocent victim. The foundation should really do their research when recruiting these D-class because some of them are genuinely good people
The guy offered to reduce his prison sentence damn well knowing that, that meant the guy wouldn't be alive for that long in the scp foundation. Poor guy probably think he was gonna be free
nah I think the ethics committee would lose their crap of they saw an d class survive all that. and only for the scp org to go back. there are plenty of candidates to d class
In this case i wonder IF the d-classes could be at least a little RESPECTED even if they are expendable (wich is unfortunate when you think about it but as they say : you don't do things right without breaking EGGS 😔😔😔😔)
Do they treat rapists and child abusers worse or do they just not give them an option? But to be honest those crimes get a lesser sentence intersystem so I would think they would lie to the inmate who did the thing that is unspeakable and then just send them to their death through a dangerous test. I'm thinking the foundation would like to get rid of these type of people from my world
The foundation doesn’t care what crime is committed, any D class is just a number, and only a number. You’re still confined in the thoughts in your world which cares about rapist and child abusers. In fact these are insignificant criminals compared to what scp foundation deals with.
@@RTFS and they deserve it the most. I think they should categorize d-class into subcategories. D1 class D2 class to D7 class for the worst of the worst
Just once I would like the foundation to meet a guy who's omnipotent and watch as he even kills 682 just to make a point to the foundation, and then casually slaps the Scarlet King around like they were a child, even intentionally tanking hits from those same beings like it's nothing, all for the same omnipotent guy to just casually act like it's a Tuesday for him.
0:59 The shadow guy looked like that rich guy from the 'Your new pet SCP-096' video, so I have a theory that the Chaos Insurgency could be behind that guy, maybe because he did something that offended them. (I'm not sure correct me if im wrong)
Bro had to put not Minecraft in the title so the little kids wouldn’t moan in the comments. “ this isn’t Minecraft so why did you make it seem like it”
Wait until he realizes they terminate the D-Class, mostly at the end of a month unless said otherwise by a higher up at the site and also wait until the writers remember all D-Class are given mind wiping amnestics
