Today I took on the challenge of surviving 100 days in a superflat hardcore minecraft world FULL of thousands of slimes constantly hunting me down. Will I survive on what limited resources a superflat world has to offer? I sure hope so because in hardcore minecraft you can only die once.. This video was inspired by @LukeTheNotable and @LockDownLife

Thank you for this awesome comment! I know the people who are only trying to be toxic don't matter but it's still quite annoying and disappointing to have to deal with it. OK, things to note. 1. Clerics can sell Lapis Lazuli. 2. Villagers CAN sell Glass Blocks, I forget which profession though. EDIT: It's the Journeymen Librarian through googling. 3. You can smelt Iron and Chainmail Armors, and Iron Tools, down into Iron Nuggets. So leveling up Toolsmiths and Armors can provide you with some spare iron. It's like investing, small at first but bigger with time.

One tip for super-flat enchantments- clerics sell lapis lazuli for one emerald as a second trade. *1 emerald for 1 lapis* SUCH a RIPOFF but its NEEDED. Good Luck to everyone trying this!

Slimes spawn below y41-40 regardless of light level and will spawn on any full surface block. You have a bunch of full blocks in your base. I think they will spawn if there's a 3x3 space and a 2 1/2 block height. Same goes for magma cubes except they spawn on any y level. Redstone components like buttons can block a large majority of mob spawns although I don't think string works sadly.
