I was literally finishing her sentences as she went along because this is my story too and I can imagine, it's the story of so many other flat nosed, fluffy haired dark skinned girls like me. We live in a society that values youth and beauty above kindness and a person's character, so there are a lot of us out there who understand not valuing the amazing person you are. Wishing that you looked like, or were, someone else, because at least then you'd be somebody. I'm not black darling, but I think I get it. It hurts, because I was taught that I wad unworthy of love. I'm crying writing this...but...I love myself now, and that is what matters, 😄 I messed up my makeup, 😭😲😋😁

I don't believe I've ever seen something so heartbreaking, yet heartwarming at the same time. The courage it took for you to do this is something that I hope to possess myself one day. You are an amazing individual and your bravery has inspired myself, as well as countless others to become stronger and better versions of ourselves. We all deserve to live a life free of "autopilot syndrome". Thank you. Lynn Mckenney I learned that to be someone, I had to build myself up. I learned that names, self-esteem, and self-respect are integral to me living a healthy, content, and good life. I think that everyone of us who's felt worthless, who's had to live their blessed and divine existence on "autopilot", just so we can "deal", can heal. We can overcome whatever misfortune ails us, and forgive ourselves and gift ourselves with everything We've ever thought we needed from others; Because we have the power to change our lives, love ourselves, and make our own happiness, 😁

I once heard in a movie: we only accept the love we think we deserve. Even I have a hole in my heart and no it's not full yet but I'm learning. I'm learning to love my curves, my imperfections, me. I am choosing because my self worth was so low at one point that I didn't think I was worthy of even friends. You'd be surprised, I was horrifically abused and neglected pre age 5, This wired up my brain in a unresourceful way. I rarel feel good enough, I live with CPSTD, BPD and body dysmorphia. I have tried so hard to overcome all of this and I feel bad and unloveable alot of the time.

This is not far from my story, when it comes to the emotional journey. i’m at the point where the voice saying who am i to take up space is still very loud. I want to love myself and say yes to myself. Yes to shining, yes to expressing, yes to singing, yes to flying... i will. Its my focus, i’m not giving up. I mean nowadays everybody has open consciousness that it's stupid to judge or treat people by color... and I understand she has been mistreated by man whatever color he was. That's the problem of her story. So I'm really glad she found strength to change her life and value herself. It's sad beginning but for sure with bright continues.

Жаннур Бегимбаева is everyone around you of the same nationality and racial background ? I think the closest some countries get to understanding racial struggles is social class systems. She was with an abuser because she had no self value. Self esteem and self value come from your environment. Be a dark skin female in the American South (I’ve literally been spit on, for being black on the wrong side of town) , it’s incredibly difficult for many of us to still find value in ourselves when the community around you treats you worse than an animal.
