Exactly what I thought. It's either: 1. those departments are so fucking disconnected from each other it turned into the good old "the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing" type of thing or 2. They had this all planned and just made it seem like they didn't know this shit was happening (you know...for YEARS) to appeal to Charlie's empathy. It's a corporation, nothing said here will change, unless they make everything worse first and then it won't matter.
2nd one, they probably sit there for a certain amount of time and figured out what could be asked and worked out good answers and acted as they got them „spontaneously“ while talking to charlie. They had an answer for everything and they know whats going wrong but they either cant fix those problems or they are not worth fixing considering the work they need.

RU-vid had a whole year and a shopping list of critiques/feedback they definitely could have worked on.
