I've been reallllyyyyy wanting to get my mom one of those Gyenno spoons! She has Parkinson's Syndrome. She shakes all over, and has to live in a nursing home. Those spoons are very expensive. You're very lucky to have one.

As someone that has worked with the elderly and those with Parkinson's disease, this spoon is a life changer and makes them feel so much better not having to rely on someone to feed them. Such a beautiful thing to be invented.

The Ember mug was definitely set in Celcius. The drink started at 16 degrees on his phone app. If that was Fahrenheit that drink would have been frozen... Freezing in Fahrenheit is 32 degrees... lol

I think the self-stabalizing spoon was the most useful gadget that serves a great purpose for people with disabilities as it was designed for. The other stuff is ok, but I think most people can do without them. The vacuum food saver is something i had before, but stopped using it because if the huge amount of plastic it uses, needing several inches of extra material all around the packaged food to create a proper seal.

I lost my dad to Huntington's disease October 2018. This would have made his life so much more manageable had I known about that spoon/fork thanks for showcasing it here.

It literally made my eyes water. My grandmother is the absolute kindest woman I've ever known.she actually just fell last month and shattered her heel bone and face, her jaw was wired shut and shes still not able to walk. The gun is $45 on Amazon currently on sale at Frys for $25. My dad spends half his time killing flys with that thing. Leaves the doors open so more can get in. Loves it. Super effective.

Vacuum sealer is amazing to have when you have a sous vide. The bags can handle much hotter temps. Anything you may put in a zip lock, just vacuum seal it. Also if you open a bag of chips or cereal, you can re-seal the bag and no more stale food!

They should make the gyenno spoon/fork more affordable as that could really make the difference for someone with parkinsons or other conditions, even with my fibro sometimes when I have spasms I can be a really messy eater and that gadget can help people retain their independence, eating is essential so they should offer it at a lower price or a discount for someone with a disability!
