Man , thank you for a honest review, I use ironite, lawn star, fertilome, stay green iron, even milorganite, Stay green lawn iron and I couldn’t tell any difference between any of them!! So I mix them all up and use them all! Lawn is beautiful!👍🏽

My favorite part of this video is the control sections you had, when testing a hypothesis it is always important to have a control. Thanks for explaining the why, I never would have guessed that the foliar app would works it way through the soil to the roots. Congrats on the 1K subs, keep on putting out quality content.
Well, a foliar app is supposed to be applied and work through the plant tissue…I thought maybe some of my spray with the AI tip made it’s way down to the soil and maybe neighboring roots under the bucket got some fert that way. Maybe a larger control section would’ve shown up better.

For sure the main diff would be the N... depends on the price and if you want more N... I'm going all N-ext this year. Very Low N, and I have a ton left over from last year. After it wears off in a few weeks, why not try again but leave a 3-4 ft strip bare down the middle? Congrats on reaching 1000! (no prize preference, but wouldn't say no to another sprayer haha)

Great video. Looking to get into the liquid application bandwagon for a 3k sqft. Section of my lawn. Tons of research and studying. Videos like this give a bit of reassurance to prove that they work. @@TheLawnMentor I’m looking to try a like approach I have an on site septic system that I would like to take the all natural approach, with another area next to my driveway that I would like to do a spray with another brand. Then my back with granular (due to its size). But great videos! Never thought that life would come to this. But embracing it for sure!
Congratulations on the 1k subs. Keep up the great work Was just wondering what I should do for my lawn most people to this pretty green but lawn geek like me Knows it could always be greener. Getting a pretty nice growth flush so definitely don’t want to push with nitrogen at this point. I’m well aware of iron Just not sure how much of it I will use at this point as it came out to be adequate in my soil test. I would love to with all those products just would have to have a full House space to store it in most people don’t though
Would love to see a 5 ft wide section left with nothing snd see what that looks like. The buckets are bot big enough to stop uron frim moving through the root zone.

Thanks for doing this comparison. Did you happen to notice any difference in the thickness or texture of the grass blades between the two? I just started using the N-ext products this spring and sometimes the blades have their way of saying thanks. Just curious on the seaweed extract and higher nitro effect. I’m a fan of Yard Mastery products and especially their technical support team. Keep ‘em coming & thanks for all you do!
Honestly I have so many different types of grass in my lawn, I don’t think I’d notice that. I do know that the leaves curl inward on themselves when they need some water, so maybe the water/liquid from the app swells the leaf tissue a bit.
@@TheLawnMentor I know this is an older video. Try not using the air induction tip, these products are much better as a foliar only app. Do not water in. Let it sit on the leaf blade, not into the soil.
This is the first time I've seen your channel but have been subscribed to LCN for a few years now. This was interesting. Would also be cool to see it split into quadrants where you do the label rate and the other product's label rate for each. Also, as noted above I think the difference between these two will boil down to your overall fert plan. The Ecologel one has double the N of the Greene Effect. Did you see a difference in growth between the two?

It depends on the rates that you apply them at. I wouldn’t go any more often than every 2 weeks because you could actually turn your grass black from over applying iron….don’t ask me how I know 🤣
Great Video. Congrats on the 1000 subscribers. All the prizes are pretty nice but I personally would love to win the Petra tools back pack sprayer I have been wanting one for the past few seasons... you also cant count out the new YM product as long as you can use the ortho dial n spray with it.
