WE MESSED UP! when we put the weight and thickness on screen we mixed them up in editing. oz (ounces) is referring to thickness of the leather and g (grams) is referring to the weight
@@ballglovekingso you’re only making a video based on if the company sent you free products? Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of the video finding the best batting gloves? I understand if it was an actual ball glove cuz of the price but batting gloves?
Can you review the Warstick workman 3 batting gloves? I have these and I LOVE them. And I feel that they are extremely underrated. They are especially great for people that like thick and durable batting gloves.
@@ballgloveking They run about a full size small FYI. If anyone wants to buy a small pair of unused grey Warstick workman 3’s in medium for 50% msrp plus shipping HMU.
I have used Marucci and Franklin’s mostly through my time, and I seem to enjoy the Franklin power straps the most. I don’t like the thickness of Bruce bolts per say, but there’s a few other solid options
Also consider the batting gloves that put an extra layer of leather at the thumb and lower palm area where it's critical so you don't kill your hands in batting practice or jam shots 👍. Franklin customs and Bruce Bolts have that.
He 💩 all over em , must've got a knock off pair.. pittards, comfortable, durable.. I use wood bats no grips just tad or tiger stick, .. I rocked the OG Franklins, Mizunos, Lizard Skins.. CFX pro is my go 2..who knows maybe red are trash
Looking forward to more BG reviews. I'd been wondering about the Atwoods and the last thing I need right now is another high-end pair of BGs, but I pulled the trigger on a pair of their Vantabutter gloves on eBay after watching your review. I second the recommendation to include D1's Dinger Grip gloves. I ordered a pair out of curiosity because they're the only glove I've seen with a built-in thumb guard. Because I live in Hoth and don't like to use gamer BGs in the cage, I haven't swung a bat with them yet, but I really like how they feel on my hand and appear to be built to last.
Got my Atwoods today. They’re so nice. Not as stiff as I expected based on this review. Also, the gloves I bought are short cuff, but they come with separate straps you can velcro on to the wrist to convert them into long cuff. Pretty neat.
I bought some cheap ($35) under armour gloves and they are by far the best gloves I’ve used. Great fit, grippy, and lasted more than one season so far and still look brand new.
Love the hoodie ...but again you reviewing a pair of jax batting gloves rather than bruce bolts which most people consider top of line and more importantly use every day.
My biggest problem with most gloves is I’m like right in between medium and large for size. So the mediums always seem super tight and large is just slightly big so I just go Kyle Tucker style
My 9U son wore through 4 pairs of bolt long cuffs last year. Admittedly he hits almost every day (his choice, not me pushing) and we don't take great care of gloves - which is a factor. I prefer batting gloves he can take on/off and throw in bag without extra care to last a long time. His jax short and strap cuffs last about as long as the bolts and cost way less (they are always on sale) so we have been sticking with those now.
Need to add a new pair of gloves for the summer season. Debated on going with the always reliable franklins or switch it up. So I appreciate the video. Ps. If you need to get rid of any right handed 11.75 gloves let me know 😂
I will say I think the slickness of a batting glove is down to preference and can easily be changed with a little bit of pine tar to suit the users needs, but I do get what your saying. But again I think batting gloves are more about protection and combating hand stings more than grip, obviously grip is important but like I said you can easily take care of that with pine tar. I think fitment and the strap is a big deal cause if you really want to grip the bat hard you don’t want a loose batting glove or one that will move around on you. Idk batting gloves are so subjective it’s crazy, and a lot of it is the style to, I mean that’s a big consideration now days to. So yea super subjective but great content to get people talking.
Love this comment thank you bro! We definitely took that into consideration when picking the Franklin as one of our winners because it was by far the best tech when it comes to the way it fits around your hand. I 100% agree that grip only matters for those guys who hate pine tar
I’ll take a glove if you’re giving them out… I also work for a nonprofit if you want to donate some. We play slow pitch when the weather is nice. Keep up the good work!!
I think I know how you could “get rid” of a glove or two!! 😁Love the vids keep it up. I'm currently gaming a 44 pro and I'm not loving how it feels. I've been looking at a2k's any suggestions?
I’ve got a question. I’m a Junior in HS, and I want a new glove. I play SS and I would like a 44 pro. I’m gonna do 11.5 in, but was wondering what model. I currently have a 574 (for 3rd), but everyone says a shallow pocket is best for SS. I’ve looked at the pro 44 model (medium pocket), the crown tip, Japan select, and the jp11. I want something that is sturdy and will last through HS without loosing shape, what do you recommend?
@ballgloveking can you update me on the shadow glove the one with the bullets and the grace all black glove how would you rate the gloves after the break in just wondering and also btw that Hoth wingtip you showed in the short (it’s orange and red) that’s sick dude I’ve never seen a stock glove that looks so good
Help. My son's Bruce bolts, have developed an eye-watering stink. Is there any way to save them? I have been airing them out, spraying with lysol, sitting in sun. Anything else?
I’ve always liked to feel the bat in my hands, I always hated batting gloves. Until I seen Ricky Henderson pimping the neon green Mizuno batting gloves!! After that I had to get my pops to get me a pair. The sad thing is I didn’t wear them hitting, I had them hanging out my back pockets until I got on base. Once I put them on, I swear them gloves made me run just as fast as Henderson!
Some brands are just real big marketing gimmicks (ahem Bruce bolts) charging way more than they should. Not like their bad, but more so just mediocre. Idk I mean it’s not like they’re really that big of a deal tho. Anyway just my thoughts. P.S- stopped a dumbass kid from saying first lol
@@ballgloveking ok man thank you. Btw I love your content keep up the work. You have helped me learn so much about gloves. I have a video idea for you you should do a few videos on have to relace a glove as a beginner.
I came here to suggest them for a future review. I got a pair recently and haven't swung a bat with them yet, but they feel good and seem like they should be durable.
Does anyone know how I can give my glove to this man so he can re-do the laces and binding of my son's glove? I promised him that I would get the laces and binding re-done professionally, and he said for an extra bonus if he could get it done by him. If someone can tell me how to send it to him, that would be great. Thanks!!!
