Hi Rachel ... I think the cheapest most functional/useful cleaning tool is from the dollar store .... denture brush ... they are stiff bristled and get into all the corners and nooks and crannies. I think you would find many purposes for those and be happy with the results and money saved. I'd like if you would try that :) Have a great day - love your videos

One hack to cleaning your baseboards is using a dryer sheet It removes dusts and the little bit of wax-y coating on the sheet makes it so the baseboards don’t get dust for a long while

Hi Rachael, If you want to make your trash cans smell better, I will cut a piece of cardboard (from and old Amazon box) and I cut it to fit into the bottom of the trash can. Once in the can, I pour some Pinesol on the cardboard so it dampens it, then I put in my trash bag. The cardboard not only catches any leaks that might come from the trash bag but it also disinfects the can and makes it smell good too. If you don’t like the smell of pine, Pinesol also comes in other scents. I know this works because I’ve been doing it for years.

Ran to the comments to say Folex is seriously the BEST stain remover I’ve ever used. I had an elderly cat who vomited a lot and always made sure she didn’t miss the carpet. My landlords cleaned my carpet after a few years I’d lived in my apartment, and they said the water was the cleanest they’d seen (I was worried lol). Never thought I’d be so passionate over stain remover, but seriously. It’s the best.

Rach! Best hack for baseboards EVER that I’ve been using for literal yeears (and there’s no almost no waste!) Use your old dryer sheets (you know, once they’re done in the dryer… not like, super ancient ones or anything) and run them along your baseboards. They clean the dust that’s already on there and the static electricity will help prevent more dust from settling. Promise you, it works. I keep a collection bag of my old dryer sheets to use just for cleaning. Super easy. No moisture. It works. I promise!

WAIT YOU GOTTA TRY THE DETERGENT AGAIN. We LOVE the Tyler glamorous wash!! I don’t personally like the diva scent either though. A more “luxe” scent is the High Maintenance scent. STUFF IS STRONG THOUGH. We add a capful or 2 with our regular detergent and only use it for our towels and sheets (mostly because of how pricey it is). Makes your whole house smell yummy and feel ✨fancy✨

I put just a splash of the Diva detergent in with my free & clear on select loads. I HATE the way it smells on clothes washed with it full force. Also, if you bought on Amazon and think you got fake stuff, let the company know. We are regular users and knew something was wrong with what we got on Amazon. Tyler Co. sent us a gift certificate with the difference to buy from them (and we got an refund from Amazon).

My go to floor cleaner is 1 tsp of powdered tide, gallon of hot water and a spin mop. It is especially amazing on hardwood floors. It helps to remove that waxy buildup that other cleaners leave behind. It is crazy how much build up and dirt a simple teaspoon will remove.

i was in a little hotel a while ago and their sheets smelled SO GOOD. and it made my pajamas smell SO GOOD. i have no idea what they used but it was just a really nice clean sheet smell. when i opened my suitcase when i got back home i could smell it. it's been like 6 months and i'm still thinking about it.

I use the detergent, but only on throw blankets, and I do use it on our bedroom sheets. I use a fraction of the amount it calls for and I mix it with an unscented detergent. It’s easy to go overboard with it, and I wouldn’t ever wash my clothes with it! too strong.

I am an "unscented" person. I put several sheets of newspaper in the bottom of the lidded kitchen trash can, it absorbs odors, and if the bag leaks, it catches that and you just change it out. And when I buy something at a thrift store that is fragranced, I will soak it in a pan with strong baking soda water before I wash it (with the baking soda water too). Takes the fragrance right out. To remove lighter scents I just put the baking soda right in the wash.

I learned a carpet cleaning hack in college. Blue Magic Carpet Stain & Spot Lifter. I find it in the automotive dept at Wal-Mart. It does an amazing job getting stains out of the carpet.

Clothes are made with different dyes now a days. I’ve done my laundry mixed together for the last 9 years and never had a bleed. Other then high end denim. Other than that, not an issue anymore.

For the Bissel foam, you need to spray it and let it sit for a few mins. The foam will pull the stain up into the foam. Then I wipe the foam away and spray it again for a tough stain, let it set and then scrub with the bristles. Works great! There’s a store brand that my grocery store sells if I can’t get the Bissel brand that works just as great, too.

I used to work in a restaurant and sometimes when the garbage would smell, we would take some fresh mint leaves/sprigs and twist them (so the smell comes through) and then throw that in the garbage. Really does help.

I am so genuinely shocked about the Glamorous Diva wash! The High Maintenance & Diva scents are my favorite. Granted, I’ve purchased from a retailer in store and off of Amazon. There is no difference, one thing I will say though is to use just a little bit with your normal detergent. I use 4-5 cap fulls, added to my usual detergent & the smell isn’t as strong & smells lovely. Lasts longer too 🤷🏼‍♀️ I can’t justify using only that detergent to wash with at $26/bottle 😳 Otherwise, I’d be happy to take that bottle off your hands 😂🥰

So my grandmother taught me this. Start by cleaning the garbage cans. Then sprinkle baking soda (the same stuff you use in the fridge to keep strong odors from stinking it up.)at the bottom of the can. 🙂you could also put a paper bag at inside as a liner and sprinkle baking soda inside that. Easier to replace. But you can leave the baking soda in there for 2-3 months or until stinky.

I never use the Glamorous Wash as the sole detergent. I put a little bit in with Tide when washing workout clothes, sheets and towels. You will still have a great scent.

If you want a really good luxe smelling detergent, I use Caldrea detergent on my linens, and special things that I don’t mind being scented. It absolutely smells luxurious and there are multiple scents. And I believe they are a sustainable brand, so that helps. Their other products are amazing as well.

If you haven't seen them before there are a bunch of slow feed bowls available. You can also use a ball (one she can't choke on) in her bowl to slow her down. I have a yakker cat so I know how much fun that is😃

Honestly I would use that laundry scent booster only for when I'm packing away maybe clothes for the winter or blankets and such. I did the same thing with those scent beads the unstoppable. When we were moving I washed everything with those but way way less than they said on the cap. Maybe like a tbsp or less! Still smells good. That's my spring cleaning hack! I also just use it for towels since those get stacked up in the closet and linens

Best carpet cleaner product I ever used (for my pets) is Bissell Stomp 'N Go Pet Lifting Pads. It's not great for large stains, but I felt like it did so much in a single application.

I use the bissel foaming carpet cleaner. I LOVE it! I will say that the sooner you do it, the better. I have incredibly sensitive skin, so I like the fact that it doesn’t get all over my hands while I’m scrubbing it. (When I use my folex, I have a large brush, but it still somehow get it on my hands.)

I use plug ins and clean under the sink with Mrs meyers to make the garbage and kitchen area smell good. I also light candles when doing dishes and deep clean the sink once a week. The brush spray does work well for pet stains and messes and I like it over other sprays because it dries fast so I don't have to worry about my kitties stepping in cleaning chemicals. They do make sprays for general stains as well and sometimes a deep carpet shampoo helps. I love watching cleaning videos so thank you for sharing. I'm so sorry the laundry soap sucked. I would hate to have sometime that smells linger especially since I have a sensitive and heightened sense of smell. I hope you are doing well and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Same! To me, when there is something I am not sure if it’s clean or not, I’ll sniff it and if it smells like perfume then I know I already wore it and throw it in the laundry basket

💯 If I want my clothes/bedding/towels to have a scent. I would drop some natural fragrance oil or essential oil on my wool dryer balls and call it a day. I only use clean&clear detergent or Castile soap. My sensitive skin can't take anything else.

@@RissieW Many essential oils are very dangerous to cats in ways that synthetic scents aren't so I don't use them. I have an elderly cat. People think natural is safe but for example lavender oil will kill a cat in the most horrible way.

I have the glamorous wash and I only use a teeny tiny amount for the scent, but use regular unscented detergent for the most part. I mainly use it for my intimate items and my silk pillowcases. I cannot imagine doing a full load with just that detergent! I bought the small sample bottles plus candles for around $25 and it’s lasting me forever.

I love Diva! It’s very concentrated and you only use a tiny amount per load along with my regular detergent. I also dilute it in a spray bottle to freshen things around the house. People constantly tell me how good my clothes smell.

Persil!!! I was reluctant but it’s a great smell and it cleans so well!!! Also, on your window scrub brush: I heard you say the back end didn’t work… stretch your rag over the end to get into those corners. It’s amazing!

I’m from Alabama and the detergent is super popular, but you definitely used WAY too much. We always put 1-2 tbs per load and mix with unscented detergent and it’s perfect. So light and fresh and sooo good. I usually use it on my sheets. Also I prefer the High Maintenance scent to the Diva. Just a tip!

I love love LOVE the detergent!! My son works in fast food and I HATE the way his clothes smell. So I was them it Diva and they smell so good!!!! I’m a big fan. Just wish it was cheaper.

I know I'm basic, but I've just always loved the smell of plain old original scented Gain laundry detergent. I used to pair it with Downey Fresh Air fabric softener, but I don't usually use any fabric softener, or dryer sheets any more, so my laundry just comes out lightly scented with Gain. And weirdly that makes me kind of enjoy folding and putting away my laundry after. I had wondered about that expensive one, so appreciate your trying it for us, so I am not tempted to waste money on something I can't really afford and probably end up disappointed (also Canadian, so would be paying a premium) .

I'm also very boring, we buy whatever is priced better between Tide & Gain with the bounce dryer sheets (and we have to get pods, because we have to use a coin operated, front loading machine in the building basement, bleck)

I'm a traditional Gain scented fan too for my everyday laundry! Something about it just really makes me happy! I do really enjoy this detergent though, but only about a capful and usually only with my bedsheets & blankets!

I use a microfibres cloth wrapped around a chopstick to clean my windows. Works so good! Plus you don’t need to buy another gadget just for that purpose. X

That green vacuum machine is the greatest invention ever! I’ve found that a tablespoon or maybe less of woolite mixed in the solution tank takes out every stain, like I’ve used it on dried acrylic paint on carpet

I use Scentsy detergent and washer whiffs to make my laundry smell yum. Lots of scent options.

Tyler detergent is amazing!! I’ve used it for years and I just add a little tiny bit to my tide detergent and I only use it for bedding, blankets, and towels and they smell amazing!! Like you said the smell lasts forever! I also really like the High maintenance scent!

RE: The brushes you used in the windowsill? You could take a dremel tool or something similar and grind off those corners that are in your way to make the bristles able to get in those corners, etc. Just a thought.
