Man David, I've been watching you on and off for the past 5+ years since highschool and just to see your growth as a home cook and perseverance as a youtuber has both been inspiring and really nice to ride along with. Even though things have slowed down a bit, you are still seen and your work is appreciated my friend
for the jerk chicken one, you should of gone and got it and then made yours to compare to the viral version of it, would of been cool to see which one was better
People complain about the one theme videos???? They’re my favorite!!!! You can do like French toast, and southern Mac and cheese variations, homemade fry recipes…. Tbh these help me the most decide which recipes to make if I’m trying to figure out i.e. which brownie recipe to use
Fyi, if you want that squeeze bottle to work better (or want to buy a new one) having a wider hole is the way to go, you can do that by cutting off some of the top with scissors (although it will likely prevent it from closing afterwards) or just make sure to buy a squeeze bottle with a wider hole, that way a thick sauce won't be inclined to pop the top off like that. You could probably even take a note from bakers and just use a plastic bag and cut off an appropriate sized tip off the corner of it, being careful not to make a mess, or use pastry bag with a small to medium sized hole: in either case, they're equipped for handling buttercreams, which can sometimes be thick.
"I stacked some of them up and it's time to see how these .. stacked up" lol that sentence was hard to listen to :P Your sauce top reminds me of when I was cracking some black pepper over a dish and apparently also unscrewed the entire top as well lmao and I just LOADED my eggs with peppercorn.
I've been watching your videos since the very first Tasty reviews when you used to fall off your chair! I always make sure to check RU-vid on Friday evenings. I miss seeing the David plate🥰
David, you're almost there. I think with a few modifications, could attempt a mac and cheese with jerk chicken on top strongly spiced _buldak_ style like what Joshua Weissman did some time ago.
David: *Calls Kraft Dinner Kraft Dinner/KD instead of Kraft mac and cheese* Canadians: *WIDE EYED AND OPEN MOUTHED IN HOPE* David: "You people [who put ketchup on it] are an ABOMINATION." Canadians: *sob collectively*
Dude I feel you about the 95F weather XD let the fall season begin already!! And you're totally missing out on that million dollar idea to create and sell popular chip season packs...
you know you are the only guy i search to watch , other wise i just search by video topic and see who has what , for you its like i will search david seymour and see what you got
I never keep the pasta water in those blue box mac N cheeses. It has too much starch. What I did was take the pasta out and drain, add butter to the pan with the powder, cook till it forms the sauce then add cheese of choice and then add back the macaroni. Comes out pretty good and doesn't turn into a solid mass from all the starch.
"It's a little healthier than the standard prep--it takes a bit less butter." Oh, are we going to ignore the half a block of cheddar that was grated into there?
Best way to level up box mac n cheese and takes pretty much no extra time: cook pasta as normal, while pasta is cooking shred you pepper Jack and cheddar cheese (as much as your heart wants), when pasta is don’t drain don’t rinse, instead of adding milk add half and half, double the butter, add cheeses, add cheese packet, mix the baby up and boom (I love adding a buncha pepper on top and screw the people who put ketchup on their Mac and cheese that’s just gross)
I've been subscribed and watching your videos for years now. (Hi from New Zealand!) Cooking mac and cheese in doritos, and then frying mac n cheese in doritos, was the most American thing I have seen this year.
Aaaah yes the TikTok "Hacks" where people claim they created something new and the brain dead drones all go "Wow"- yet the "Hack" been around for years or not even a hack 😂
Ive always made mac and cheese like that lol? And fyi its best with thick and creamy box i add garlic powder and hot sauce as well. If it needs add more milk. And serve
Fairly sure people dislike chicken thighs because they are fattier (which makes them tastier) and therefore also meatier. A surprising amount of people want meat with no meat flavour, I think. At least that's what I can gather from my wife.
