Hyaluronic acid should be applied to skin while it's still damp always, because it's purpose is to help skin retain moisture,water for an extra long time. But to begin with if the skin doesn't have any moisture/ water the hy acid can't do it's job..the acid itself doesn't help in par with hydrating but helps our skin hold on to + lock in what's already there. ( just something I learnt) :) ❤️
Can you tell me how i should use it i mean first i cleanse and then i use toner should i use it after? The toner? Or just skip the toner and apply on damp skin?
Hey Nimesha, Hope you're doing good. Been a long time subscriber :) I would like to tell you that use your HA serum on damp skin. If you continue to use it on dry face, you'd feel that your skin is becoming dry or dehydrated rather than becoming plumpy. Also I would recommend you to not rub your products on your hand and apply it to your skin. I'll give you reasons- - Most of the product is already absorbed in your hand - Less product is absorbed in face making it useless. I'd recommend you to squeeze some of your moisturizer on your finger and directly apply it your face and then rub. Same goes with HA serum. Use your serum dropper directly on your skin WITHOUT basically touching the dropper to your face. Reasons- - More product is being applied on your face. - You don't basically waste all of the product compared to when you'd rub all of it in your hands. This is just an opinion of mine which I think is very effective. But always do what works best for you :) Love love x
you should use it on damp skin to make hyaluronic acid work and without water it works the opposite i.e it takes away the moisture and leaves your skin dry
You should always apply it on damp skin or else it will dry you out and eye creams are nothing but overpriced moisturisers if you check the ingredients they basically are the same as a moisturiser.
I’ve used it for 1 week and see an improvement with my lines on my forehead! I’m betting My skin was dehydrated. Can’t wait to see my skin in 9 weeks! I’ll look like a teen 😅😂
@nayaramello4768 Wow... where do I start?! I started using as directed, yet my face started getting these red bumps everywhere. At the same time, I repurchased my tried and true Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer. So I removed the Hyaluronic, but nothing happened. Turns out Cetaphil has a new formulation that has Niacinamide. I'm basically starting from 0 again after having great skin. So I honestly can't give an opinion about hyaluronic.
