I want Hydramon to be in this game so much, if only so Karn could battle the Hydrussy.

Can't wait for [TIME AFTER TIME] to activate once again and make all these predictions come true. I love the Olympus 12 and it's so exciting that we're getting a game featuring them as prominent characters.

Fantastic video, Karn. If we have to go on journeys to unlock the Olympaus XII, that would sound sort of like going through the trials of Hercules (defeating each entitiy to reveal their true nature/identity). If we do go the Demi-God route for this, I would be so pumped to play through this. As a fan of Greek/Roman mythology, please let this be real.

I wouldn't be surprised if one character had both Lunamon and Coronamon, but that could also be too similar to Nokia. Maybe siblings with them would work better? Apollo and Artemis are twins. I just hope we finally get proper full lines for all the Olympus, but I doubt that'll happen since the games rarely add a ton of new mons. Only 3/12 (Apollomon, Dianamon, and Jupitermon) have full lines made for them, and I guess the standard Labramon line works for Plutomon (tho I'd like a new Child level so it's different then what we just got in Survive)

I do think they could do the main character as Aegiomon if they do like the anime and keep the evolutions a purely per battle thing, at least for Aegiomon himself, that way they can keep the easily identifiable player avatar without making you just feel like your friend's sidekick/battery/therapist/lifecoach/family+romantic counsellor.

The fact that Next Order got enough demand and mileage that it got ported again so long after release, and the fact that Coronamon and Lunamon are way more connected than most rookies are to the point they are rival box art creatures only second to Agumon and Gabumon in that respect, I think gameplay wise we might be looking at tag teams agains. I don't think that other supporting characters will have tag teams, but I can absolutely see "pairings" be a whole thematic. Having a side character that IS one of the Olympos XII looking for their other Olympos XII partner would absolutely be on brand in that idea; and still leaves us with another 8 Olympians to pad the plot, which feels just right.

Honestly, some new forms for other Olympus 12 members could be cool based on different versions. For Bacchusmon, maybe something based on Orphic Dionysus. Venusmon has the potential to have a cavalcade ranging from Ouranos and Pandemos. Or a more warrior feeling one like the Spartan version or Venus Genetrix, Heck, a Digimon based on Persephone could be fun

I think this game could be very big for the franchise because tons of streamers and content creators tried Cyber Sleuth but many didn't finish it. Make it more compelling with more combat and it could be the next big Digimon game.

I could definitely see them using Aegiomon as a partner though. Perhaps you have to meet the Olympos XII members to evolve the corresponding Aegiochusmon form to a member of the Olympos XII and once you gather all the forms you can attain the true mega: Jupitermon.

I was thinking the same! But with a little difference: I think we'll be focusing on Pulsemon as our main partner (with maybe Achillesmon being our final form) and, also, Jupitermon being the real final villain as Wrathful Mode, maybe with Junomon Hysteric Mode towards him

I feel like Aegiomon will be an important character in the next game one way or another. We will probably follow his growth like we did with Hackmon in Digimon Story but much more heavily. I think your theory is spot on to what we will ultimately get.

Definitely an interesting thought. I’m for sure interested in seeing whether they go with a Digimon, Digital Life-form, Human, or a mix of the three as the big threat that needs to be stopped. An example I can think of is Titamon, and it’s role in the story. Since Titamon is the designated arch-nemesis of the Olympos XII, how major of a role will it play, and will it be working as an underling for a greater threat, or operating on it’s own? Stuff like that.

Love the ideas. One thing that occurred to me as you were showing Aegiomon was how much it reminds me of Flamemon, from Frontier. If we're talking about the melding of human and Digimon, I would love Habu take on a Frontier-like concept.

3:17 Weird thing is Lost Evolution just gave you an Agumon as a starter while Super Xros Wars started Taiki with Shoutmon, Dorulumon, Ballistamon and Starmon (who comes with the pickmons). If you ask me, Super Xros Wars should have had a new player character who started with Spadamon. Playing as existing characters should be saved for side games like Digimon Data Squad: Another Mission (it's not a Digimon World game (it plays closer to a Digimon Story game too IIRC), I refuse to call it Digimon World Data Squad) and Digimon Adventure PSP

I have been daydreaming about a storyline for Aegiomon for such a long time, I feel very validated that I am not the only one thinking about this little goatlads story potential xD

My wishlist for the next story game besides the Olympus 12 are Coronamon and Lunamon lines, Gammamon and evolutions, Pulsemon lines, Jellymon line, Loogamon line, Hydramon, Sunarizamon, Sangomon, Angoramon line, Ghostmon, Argomon line, Eosmon, and Morphomon.

One of my fanconcepts is that the Tamer can change his digimon partners into gears so they can fight in synch, Of course he can evolve his partners but he can Gear-convert a mon into specific gears that change in power with the Stage level, example if we take Agumon-line as a reference : Agumon : Agu-Claw , Agumon's like claws, able to charge up Pepper Breath Greymon : GreyHelm-Shield : A shield shaped like Greymon's Helmet, allow the user to deal vicious bash attacks and hides a canon that can fire Nova Blasts Metal Greymon: MetalGrey-ExoGear : Arm with Trident Arm, The wings and hidden rocket launchers to emulate the Giga Destroyers WarGreymon : Dramon Killers + Brave Shield, no need to add more details

What if In some myth hera betray zeus to take control of the olympus. And you need to help jupitermon in the form of aechusmon to take back the olympus. Or Your partner is a new digimon inspired of hercules and aechusmon(jupitermon disguise) helps to achive digimon god hood and your have to take the 12 task like the original myth.

Seekers also has the mindlink mechanic for it plot where the human mind is connected to the digicore of their digimon and if to much time passes the mind fuse to the digimon

I would love to see a customized full line for each of the Olympus 12 like how Lunamon and Coronamon got. Maybe more fusions between them as well. And maybe have something with Plutomon as an antagonist. Or anti-hero kinda thing.

Well technically Zeus doing all that creepy stuff was either some ancients ways of trying to understand the world around them (this guy is crazy strong, must be a son of Zeus), others in ancient times did it as a way to gain status or hide actual infidelities. On the Digimon front though, I think you forgot the Frontier series as a reference. After all, the Digi-destined there could all turn into digimon. Side note, thanks for those purified forms of the 10 legendary warriors. Its a big help for Cyber Heroes.

Okay we going to the Olympus 12 Server and see their digital world it would be amazing to see what going on and if the brand new Digimon will appear on said that server will we be partner with Cronoamon & Lunamon,with Aegiosmon being a Rival/Mentor like Digimon showing us and our partner the in and outs of the digital server and hinting at the Olympus 12 role in the order of said server

I wouldn't mind Lunamon being a main partner as I do like Lunamon but I'd love to have loogamon and it's digiline be obtainable in the new stories game as well. If I could get Lopmon as well then I'd be set for my 3 digimon in game lol. Happy New Year to you as well Karn. On a side note for Digimon survive I haven't been able to get myself to do the wrath or harmony runs because I don't want to kill off Aoi or Kaito because they become 2 of my favourite human characters.

Persona route is cool to see, but there is also Digital Devil Story which had you turn into a demon directly and we could see something like from that one season of digimon with susanoomon as a mechanic

This is similar to an idea I've had for a while now, someone who is a bio-hybrid, but is a naturally occurring one, not altered in a lab or something like the three we saw in Savers were, or had needed a transplant surgery while they were in the digital world so they are part digimon as a result.

Anyone notice how each Habu game adds more Digimon related to the O12? Titamon in ReDigitize. Dianamon and Mervamon in CS original version. Mercurymon and Neptunemon to HM original version. And then Plutomon in Survive. Its like it's all leading up to the next game.

I think you might be on the right track with your predictions for the next Digimon Story game. Personally I hope they will also look towards Titamon and "The 3 Gods of Destruction" as part of the story. Hopefully giving us the 2 new Digimon to make up the remaining Offical members. I'm aware that Digimon Wolrd Next Order brought in Samudramon and Kuzuhamon as the missing members, but personally i think the remaining members should also be Monsters/Titans from the Greek/Roman Myths.

A good twist would be that your main partner turns out to be Plutomon and that's why the others would go berserk when they see you as they could sense the potential of a new/returning Plutomon. Then you could have Jupitermon fight Plutomon because your partner was corrupted by a virus and now you have to subdue him to him bring him back to his senses.

1. Hope battle system returns, loved Cyber Sleuth one! 2. Those were good options for Aegiomon! ...Makes you wonder if villain would be Plutomon or something else, likely new Digimon, I wonder. 3. If we get Digimon choice starters between Lunamon (Data) and Coronamon (Vaccine)... What would be "Virus"? Goblimon (Titamon), or Gazimon (Plutomon)? 4. ...Really hope there is some character customization too. 5. 9:32 ...Over Half the time it was Zeus. Also it would be crime for game NOT have Minomon, you know why. Maybe Gladimon too. 6. All and all, looking forward this game! Extra: ...One fun touch would be there be "Imposter" Jupitermon, revealed to be a Metamormon assuming it's form for some big bad. Little call back to Metamormon from Digimon V-Tamer. (I honestly doubt we'd see Parallelmon, as much as I'd love to see one... Then again it being reason humans get pulled into Digital World as it tries to hunt them down would be interesting.)

I want a bigger option of digimon on the game or some who havnt been in a digimon game for a while … personally my favorite digimon is Kazemon so I’ve been patiently waiting years for her to make it into a game

You should make a new Digimon series similar to Digimon Frontier's evolutions but more Digimon Adventure & Kamen Rider. With the "Human Spirit", the Digidestined's digimon partner becomes human, while the "Beast Spirit" turns the Digidestined into a Digimon. They'll later fuse into one being - Biomerge style and Digivolve even further.

Love all the Ideas and Theorys so far. Somewhat i hope most of them come true. But it would be also nice to see something entirely different of course. For Example i would love a Olympus 12 Member to have a more Animal like Digimon Form or taking the Form of a normal Animal and be your Guide or Friend. All Olympus Twelve Members share that they are symbolised with certain Animals and thats why i would give them all Animal Forms or Digimon Animal Forms. Lets see if Time after Time works perfectly out or if they surprise us in some other Way. They should include new Digimon especially towards Greek Mythology too. For Example Herculesmon and Lamiamon. And Hydramon already exists and could be a important Boss. There are many good Creatures who could get used for this Digimon Story Game.

9:01 Think it's worth noting that Agieomon is based on Aegipan, which was the offspring of Zeus (Jupiter's Greek counterpart) and a goat. Aega had a few other interpretations regarding what exactly she was but in this case it's obviously pulling from her being a goat.

I know it's a lot but I think it would be cool of the game to have the olympos 12 have an evolution line that is distinct and unique for them. As a kid I loved Coronamon and Lunamon is that they had unique evolution lines that I've never seen in the anime. So it would be cool if the rest of yhe olympos 12 had neat in training to ultimate forms.

This whole human/creature chimera thing is part of the Pokemon story also. There seems to be some sort of effort to condition people to be open to the idea of gene splicing their DNA with other species of animals.

Given that they gave proper levels to the Xros Wars/Fusion Digimon, it’d be neat if some of them were present.

If there is an SMT inspiration they could pull from digital devil saga where the main characters gain demonic forms that they can freely switch between fighting between the nature's conflicting in their identity. Your "tamer" character could have combat abilities and switch into a digimon or may switch into a digimon specifically in combat.

22:07 it would also be neat if the friend-to-be-Digimon had a partner Calumon, who in turn could help the friend become their true Digimon self. Sort of a reinvention of the partner/Digimon concept while also making the human character the predominant character.

Unrelated to the theory itself, but one thing that always felt weird to me about Aegiochusmon was that it only ever went into Jupitermon. The different forms all could fit individual Olympos XII members pretty well, such as Aegiochusmon Green with Bacchusmon and Mercurymon especially (with Aegiochusmon Dark perhaps being used for the "evil" modes of Jupitermon/Junomon or something like Plutomon or Titamon, who are related to the Olympos XII). If this game does have Aegiomon and the Aegiochusmons, i hope that they'll have a respective Aegiochusmon form as a pre-evo (alongside other pre-evos, obviously) (also, if we do get new Digimon in this game, i hope we get a proper rookie for Aegiomon, since the only rookie choice being Elecmon is... bleh.)

I really hope we get a proper Typhon digimon in this. It would make sense as the big bad and I'm waiting for my boy to get his debut. We already have one of his kids, the Hydra, and a mon for his brothers the Titans. It would even give a good reason for the Olympos 12 to be split up, since Typhon made them all run away in Greek Myth.

I hope so much that they have Titamon in some aspects. Maybe not the big bad but at the very least a team rocket esk thorn in our side.

Was rewatching Digimon Tamers and got to the scene where Calumon evolved every Digimon. We are shown the Digimon that were attacking Beelzemon evolved into Diaboramons and I just thought "Did Calumon accidentally start another "Our War Game"😂

Probably the best aspect I could see, our friend becoming our partner, and is also Aegiomon. it'd give us an Adult level partner, which isn't common, but we have three instances in the Animes(that I remember). I think that'd be an interesting enough twist, with the multi-Ultimates and our best friend being actually a digimon turned human(or vice-versa), to keep the story fresh, while following design elements from previous stories.

I personally don't need a self insert to be engaged with the characters or story on screen, just good character interactions to watch.

You know, Time After Time has been scarily accurate in the past, so for know I'm about 40% expecting the plot to be this XD I'm definitely the type that really would like the player character to be the one who's the twist digimon, but with how many options there are, yeah, it makes more sense for it to be an ally character and experience their story along side your own.

I'd love for Aegiomon to get a starring role in a video game. They were pretty cool in Digimon Heroes. On a side note some digimon featured in Ghost Game would be nice in an upcoming video game. Gammamon, Angoramon, & Jellymon if not part of the story than maybe just obtainable otherwise.

Huh, I have been making a similar assumption but you really fleshed it out. I expected a silver haired Lunamon/Coronamon looking partner but this makes more sense. I do hope our partner still has a vibrant plot-line.

One possibility for a story element of Aegiomon might be that he does start out as human, possibly with a partner digimon possibly without, and at some point merges with a digimon to become Aegiomon. After all the entire plot of Digimon Frontier revolved around the humans becoming digimon, Also, if I am not mistaken in that series didn't the main character Takuya become Flamemon when he escaped to the real world? something similar may happen. Another possibility might be that you have a group of friends with you similar to large portions of Cyber Sleuth and each of them can merge with digimon to fight like Persona. In this idea you would be able to evolved and switch out the digimon that merge with your party members. However both of these are just thoughts I had, and even less likely to be true than Karn's theory.

Honestly I got alot of hope for this game. Cyber sleuth/Hackers memory were not my cup of tea "only" cause of the world setting. Really hoping for the appearance of "underdog" digimon and X-evolution

Not sure how likely it is but since Gaia is also a Greek god it could be a battle of the Greek gods as the finale battle and it would also be pretty good for marketing since (in a way) it will be a new digimon and it would be huge since it is literally a planet

Love Aegiomon and his evolutions. It would be really cool having a game with him as the focus. But I really doubt it. A new game with Coronamon and Lunamon is more possible and I would also like it. I love their designs and besides their games they didnt showed up more more.

Imagine if the spirits from frontier were based on the Olympos XII. Like their human forms would be based on a demigod related to them and their beast would be the animal sacred to that god. Like Jupitermon's spirits could be Heraclesmon and Jovemon (an eagle).
