Dear Steph , you look after 4 kids a husband ,100 plus animals , your the one that knows everyones name , its amazing how u deal with it all ,

you might have to tube feed it, I dont see it eating anything fron the bottle and check the babies temp. I have been watching "Sheepishly me" Sandy Brock out of Canada for a while and some babies are just premies and need to be tube fed until they improve.

You know you have to hold it so the kid's head is back so the milk goes in the right stomach. Observe how the healthy kids nurse off their mothers. I'd be keeping it in the house instead of by itself in a cage. It would be more stimulating. To be honest, it doesn't look good.

I think that is the tiniest baby goat I've ever seen. She is absolutely precious!! I really hope she makes it 🙏 she just looks so weak 😢. Come on baby girl everyone wants you to be ok and thriving ❤

great idea about Sandi Brock, she deals with failure to thrive a lot, Check body temperature with a rectal thermometer.

Try wrapping her in a blanket. When that little they lose heat easy and can’t keep their temperature up. Why they snuggle under mom or with a bunch of other goats to stay warm.

That is probably the cutest little goat I’ve seen marking wise. I hope she makes it.

It's ok to have "brain fog " like I call mine when I have trouble remembering things. I make a lot of lists and write things down, and put a white board to write on my frig to keep track of weekly or daily schedules. It really helped me decrease my stress about forgetting when I could see things written in front of me

You don’t have bad memory! You have a busy mind! You have so many things going on in your life with kids, housework animals and so forth! Your mind just has so many things to think about, it can get confusing! Sometimes Comprehension can play a part on retaining things! You are for sure ok as you know animal names and probably little things you don’t even pay attention to, that are second nature to you! Give yourself a break! You just have a busy mind! I have been like this all my life also! I am 71 now and still forget things, but no more than I did as a younger person! I remember studying for a test when I was in school and my mom would call the questions out to me, then the next day when I took the test, I could not remember! I found out when I became an adult, that the things I was interested in, were the things I could retain! Anything else, was a hit or miss!

Stephanie I had my thyroid tested by needle biopsy. If they say that, it sounds scary or painful but it doesn’t hurt. It’s done in outpatient in the X-ray department. At least that’s where they did mine.

When a calf has scours, (runny bowels), you can give them Pepto-Bismol to help.

Such a cute little kid but she seems so weak. In nature and life, loss happens no matter the efforts. Caring is what counts and for sure you all do that. 🙏

You said Brandan feed her 30 minutes before and you was trying to feed her with the same bottle. The milk needs to be warm and that had had time to cool. It’s like a regular baby cool milk will give it colic.💕

I have a athyroid problem for quite a few years. Memory issues, weight gain or loss, hair coming out when showering and really tired. If you are taking meds have them check your blood.

If your calf has scours/runs force feed a complete egg in her mouth & hold the mouth shut so it eats the raw egg (shell & all is ok). Old farmers used to do that always & it works.

I loved how Buddy came up to you and layed his head on your leg, for lov'en. When you mentioned from a young age, you thought you had an older mind. I have felt the same way all my life also. I didn't think i would live past 50. Today i am almost 72yrs old. But i started doing a lot of silly games but also challenging games. And i still do today. I'm trying to keep my mind to the here and now, because my Dad's and almost all his brothes had Alzheimer's/ dementia. I took care of my parents Mom passed first. That's when my Father got real bad. It was scary sometimes and frustrating a job that is very hard to do. He eventually passed 91/2 months after Mom. So i work hard to try and keep my mind here because if my daughter was to takecare of me (whenever or if ever). I don't want her to experience of taking care of an Alzheimer's Mom. It breaks your heart. So Stephanie stay on top of this, the Dr's will find out the issue. You are a vibrant person. There tohelp whenever you can. Stay well 💞 summers here and its very hot. Try to limit your outside time so its not in the hottest part of the day. I'm a red head also and i can't take the heat very well. And to to top it off i live in Southern Arizona. 🥵🧓🌵

Keep an eye on the calf as they can suffer from Scour which is diarrhoea. We used to have a poddy calf and nearly lost if from scour

Steph great idea to get blood work checked, Thyroid can affect you a lot. Some will lose lots of weight and some gain weight. So it’s good your Doctor wants to recheck and if it’s still not normal. They should give you medication. That poor kid, she might be underdeveloped or just really dehydrated, hopefully she pulls through

My grandfather was like that Stephanie and he always made lists. He carried small notebooks and a pencil/pen with him at all times. It was how he coped and it worked. He was a really smart man too, just had a low attention span. They say that the people in this generation at this time is losing the time they have attention d/t many things, esp. spending too much time on cell phone apps, tv, and our diet that is not natural for human bodies. I hope you do follow up with someone that knows how to correctly do a thyroid exam, and possibly an ultrasound. You don't appear hyper-thyroid. So hopefully it is just an off test. Poor little baby. Bottle babies can be so sweet, yet such a responsibility. You both are so loving and caring. I agree with you about the mom needing to leave the farm. She needs to get fixed really so this doesn't ever happen again anywhere. Love and blessings to you all~

Hi Stephanie, I have Hashimoto's Disease which is a Thyroid thing, I get very tired & find it very hard to lose weight. I take medication each day, called Thyroxine & this keeps my levels fairly normal but doesn't stop Hashimoto disease, as this is an autoimmune disorder.

So sad she is beautiful

My earliest memory i think was when I was 5 yrs old.

Heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Very serious progression of being out in the heat too long without enough fluids. Little kids and elderly get it all more easily. Good job.on the animals. Did Lil Ann get fixed yet? Yes, baby goats less than 5 pds can't keep their body temp warm. I had to look up wattles. I spelled it with two d’s. It’s two t’s😂. Yeah I saw they are genetic/hereditary and some people call them goat jewelry. Apparently they can get abscessed?? Hope YOUR blood work has good answers. And I keep studying your top knot and hair. Can’t tell if you have coarse hair but think so. My hair has gotten quite long (and silver) and putting it up different ways that work seem to be illusive!! I know it’s a different kind of question. Just curious. Always enjoy your vids. Can you tube feed the baby goat? And is there another goat who just had a baby? You can milk that goat and get her the colostrum from that goat, it’s like goat sharing. I’m no expert, but have seen it on other channels. Just an idea. Prayers she makes it!

I have been battling my thyroid since I was small. It started out hyper and now it's hypo. I have been up and down on meds which now I'm taking 250mg. My specialist has never told me it will affect my memory. I hope you get yours straightened out. The baby is so cute. I wonder if the mama was bred by her own daddy. That would cause them to be not fully developed. I hope it makes it.
