Just got my first bowling ball I learned so much from your video on 2 handed bowling I'm still nowhere near being good but I've seen some dramatic increase consistency wise and hope to add more balls to my arsenal but it ain't cheap. I love this sport more than I thought keep up with the good work
Really thought we were going to see a ball to go with our mood rings. The ball changes color as you hold it...but NOOOOOO...Packy changes the color himself. Had to figure 😂
I’ve been a subscriber for a few weeks now. It has jump started me into getting back into bowling. I finally had the chance today to after almost 5 years. First game out of the box 245. Don’t ask about the other six games. Lol but I had a blast. Now I have to upgrade my 13 year old bowling Equiptment and go more on a regular basis. Thanks for the motivation and keep rolling. You’ll get your moment soon enough.
Noticed there was some scoring issues on that lane, the time you left the 2, 4, 7 it showed you only had the 2 and 4 to pick up and it scored you an 8 spare that should have been 7 spare. 5:20 time slot in case you were wondering.
@TheHouseBowling. What got me interest in your channel was the goofy challenges and new ideas. Here's one. Bowl a game against someone with those "bury drunk glasses" on👍
@@TheHouseBowling m-s bowlers get hammered every night at league. So here's the new challenge actually make it a tournament no more than 6 per pair do a shot on every frame of the first game. Then finish the set
I say Simo too.Just because he can go left hand and right hand style from the same direction..I would also say Kris Prather is very versatile as well..
I actually always practice at least one game at the end of a session with just my spare ball (unsanded). I have had days where it's all I had left and it's great for improving accuracy.
Randomly was recommended your video! I grew up a few blocks from the CAC. In the mid 80's early 90's. I spent many a roll of quarters on the video games and pinball! It was my neighborhood arcade! Grew up north of WSU on Roosevelt!
Well now I know what the white ball was you were throwing two weeks ago. And here I thought it was a Quantum Bias lol. I wore that shirt in league last week and each time I threw a bad ball, I stuck my finger in the eye. Lol You are bowling in your home field this week rooting for you all the way. After watching the PTQ today your slow wheel game is going to be on point this week. Go get 'em kiddo!!!!!!!!
@The House Bowling you should find a way to do color changing paint on a ball. Ever seen the hot wheels cars that change color when you add heat or cold to them???
I love my widow viz ball. This made me a little sad to see the pattern go away. But then again I have three hammers in my bag. The black widow Hybrid 2.0, black raw, and the widow viz.
If you could find them, it would be a riot if you could compare the BW Spare to the Taboo Spare and the True Blood. The Taboo Spare has the same Gas Mask core as the BWs, but the True Blood has the same core as the First Blood. Seeing how spare balls with core compare to each other would be a fun thing to see.
I'm amazed at how many two hand bowlers there are in today's leauges. Nothing wrong with that just not let's say standard bowling. Possibly if I would try thing style maybe I'd be good at bowling. Cause I am not remotely good.
when viz a balls first came out people loved them. They had all kinds of graphics on them as they do today. But I hated to see the kids' faces when I told them I could not fix the scratches or divits from a viz a ball without turning it white. Unlike some of the Ebonite fun balls, the Viz A Balls are only skin deep.
I'm also a lefty and bowled 5 years in a row using a plastic spare ball from Track and averaged 200+ with the ball as is from the box. This should have been easier thank it looked.
@@TheHouseBowling after 8 hours of watching the Mens.. couldnt hang around for the ladies. Would of liked to watch Madison bowl a little bit, but the wife was super cranky
Hello Packy great video as usual, I wonder about a real color changing ball? as a bowler and a school teacher I am curious about something. Reactive bowling balls absorb oil. You see when balls are exposed to lane dye they start to change color. So I wonder if you took a black widow ghost and got some oil based flood color dye off amazon (they sell it). Store bought food coloring is water based. But if you got some purple or whatever color oil based dye could you die a black widow ghost like an easter egg for a real color changed ball. That would be a great video if it worked.
Even more entertaining would be thermochromic ink or some chemical that changes color under UV or other radiation, so it can keep changing colors with negligible treatment/maintenance
@@coopergates9680 Before I was a teacher I was a chef and just found a big bottle of oil based purple food coloring , I have adult money Im thinking of buying a ghost and trying it my inner science nerd wants to know.
Cool tech bowling hammer black widow viz a ball plastic bowlling ball with carbon fiber technology in the bowling ball more strike hitting power at time the house bowling packy
I rolled a 647 at a mid-season sweeper for our league with my black widow spare. The house shot was ridiculously dry and I ended up having the high scratch series😂 I put a 1500 grit surface on mine. It's my go to when the lanes get fried. I also have a handful of no-tap 300s with it. AWESOME BALL!!!
@@Perry2186 I can't tell a difference between the 2. I have 1500 surface on both and line up in the same place for both. Honestly I use the black widow more because it has cool graphics 😂
I looked up the ball spec rules to verify.. as long as the ball is within hardness/ weight symmetry specs and assuming proper weight and size specs, a legal drill, legal oil absorbtion specs, and you don't have balance holes, modify or clean the surface during play, or have the surface prepared non-uniformly, There is no equipment rule that would appear to disallow such a ball to be used. This specific ball is also on the usbc approved ball list.
