Mt Wilson Shuttle runs might be my personal favorite MTB adventure in the greater Los Angeles area. Some of its a little rowdy and there are some sections with unnerving exposure to big drops but overall its an incredible hour and a half of shreds. I mean, 4500ft of downs with only about 1000 ft of climbing? Who wouldn't go for that?!?

Used to shuttle that run all the time. Such a fun ride with all sorts of terrain. We rode that with snow at the top one time. Good save on the bike off the line. Have to go back and ride that this year.

Serious chunk and loose chunder on that climb. We already know how the EVO crushes downhills, but I am impressed how composed that bike is at slow speeds. Love high desert riding and blown out trails.

Very true. That was actually the first time I'd ever made it through that initial staircase @1:55 without dabbing. However it would be nice to have more engagement in that SLX hub when I'm climbing that tech stuff and ratcheting the cranks.

@@ShreddingSpree When you wear that one out an Industry Nine hub would be appropriate for that bike. SLX is no slouch.

Hey thanks! I shoot my POV stuff with a GoPro hero 8 and I color grade the video in Adobe premier. Edit: the hero 8 is mounted upside down on a chesty with no gimbal.
