Thanks for your service. DD knows it can always count on Top Dashers, or Platinum, or whatever they call it now, to take the crap orders. So the rest of us who don't care about tiers don't see that many of them. They go to top dashers.
I’ve watched a few of your videos and I just love how you always have a positive vibe and say your gratitude weither there’s a Doorbell camera or not …. I feel like you manifest positive energy and it’s returned to you with good orders !
I refuse to be manipulated and exploited by having to take offers that don't cover the costs of operating my car and compensate me for my time for their BS "rewards programs "!
I was a top dasher for 19 months straight after my first month as a newbie. The "rewards" program came in, wanted me to raise my AR from 70 to 80 percent to become platinum, at that time I was at 94%, and then I lost the ability to go any time I wanted, I am still not able to schedule. I set alarms etc at 3pm, 12 am, 3am. At that point I said f*** it, what is the point of this? I only kept my numbers high to have the ability to go on and dash any time I wanted, and that is gone. The moment I stopped worrying about my AR is when I started making $ with this tier program crap. I am not a no tip no trip guy, but if the offer is not worth my time and/or gas, I am not taking it.
@@esau93631yes they probably want a lot of people to I started the tier program a couple months ago and it's not that good I finally got a large order and it paid $12.
Happy father's day Chuck. Recently subscribed to the channel. Love watching the videos. Very cool you are located on the GA coast. Im originally from the piedmont region of Georgia (most of my family is still there) and always enjoyed taking trips down your way when I lived in the state. I am currently in the SW region of Ohio where ive lived over the last 10 years and I do some dashing and delivery driving part time. Always interesting to see the experiences of other drivers. Hope you get plenty of good orders this coming week!
If you were already at McDonald's on that Uber, just click not ready letting them know you are already there, then drop the DD order and come back. They will not take it away any time soon by doing that.
Little Caesars made me wait 45 min...then told the customer it was picked up already ...The customer cussed me out...how can I deliver something not given to me...smh...
Great video. I wish I could get orders that quick. This week was crickets. Did my lowest number of deliveries since I started 18 months ago. I had 1 order which paid well but now I’m going to have to hustle to maintain my rolling 150
One of my own pet peeves. I especially like how most restroom doors open into the restroom....so even if YOU wash your hands, you pretty much have to grab the handle to get out. Exceptions apply...if you want to balance on one foot while using the other one to open the door, hoping someone on the other side doesn't come busting through. Push to exit restroom doors shouldn't be the exception IMO.
Hey Chuck, I got deactivated from doordash at least five or six times last year. Wait like 3 or 4 weeks and do another appeal and they will reactivate you. I have had several friends with the same issue and it always works
Hello, I happened to find your channel and I'm having a great time with it. Even if it hasn't always been easy, I wish I was delivering. I'm miserable at my terrible office job. I would like to do this once I have enough money saved for a car. Looking forward to more content! Have a great day.
Chuck, have you ever thought about starting your own food delivery service? You could just do personal orders for your regular customers and then you'd rely less on the delivery apps and probably make more money overall. Tony Delivers does something like that.
@@rachmunshine9474 Customer contacts Chuck and he says if he's available to pick up the order. The customer orders the food from the restaurant and selects "pick up" or "to go" and then gives Chuck the details on the wait time, then they would send Chuck money to deliver it. Tony Delivers charges $5 per order, Chuck could set his own price to make it worth picking up in his area. Chuck would then pick it up and deliver it.
I had a PERFECT dirty stack set up today - a double stack Door Dash order going 2 miles from my curbside Spark order, well lo and behold Spark dropped the ball. I picked up both Doordash orders within a block away from Walmart ( perfect ) BUT I ended up sitting at the curb side pick up for 20+ minutes and my 1st DD order deadline was 1 minute away. I ended up dropping a $24 Spark order for a 12.50 double stack DD which cost me money considering the mileage. UGH! Dirty stacks are awesome when they work out but when they dont it's horrible! $35 double stack turned into $12.50 for almost 9 miles ;-(
Key is to get yourself way iver 100. I work full time and do this part time. Worked my a off for two weeks and am at 150. Should be able to get to 180 before stuff starts dropping ( has week off). Then you have breathing room.
If you can't maintain the plat stats dashing everyday maybe it's time to eat the degrade and see if it actually hurts. You could get it back easy. Your resourceful!
@@DashingAcrossAmerica But is it actually worth scheduling or should you be active when the zone is red? If you somehow get good money while the zone is gray with plat awesome! In my experience it doesn't work that way. You float so many apps that gritting your teeth to keep plat seems like more trouble than it's worth.
I just think it sucks he has to eat some days with awful doordash orders to keep plat. All the other platforms work just as well for him and he has got to worry about orders dropping off each day. I didn't mean any offense to Chuck. I think the point of these kind of channels is to learn from each other. I have learned from Chuxk for a couple months and got thrown into this tier system around the time he did.
@@jarodmccloud7481I know in my area most days if you’re not platinum it’s hard to schedule because the time slots fill up quickly. I only drive part time and because I’m not platinum some weeks I can’t dash at all or only 1 day because there are no slots available. That’s why platinum status with the dash now button is worth it
The UBS did that to me. Where I got a so called mileage of 1.3 BUT the city said Los Angeles!!! I was in Torrance California and L.A. city is way further...I said no thanks!!! lol not for $7!
When I dirty stacked in the past, DD gave me a Contract violation for going a different direction and taking longer then anticipated, however I was on time to deliver according to the app expected delivery time.
How do you film when you go into the restaurant and to the door? I’d love to infuse that style in my travel vlogs. I just started holding my camera on a tripod against my backpack strap and that seemed to do okay, but yours they don’t even seem to notice the camera. And the audio is fantastic also.
Thanks buddy! I use a set of magnets one that I wear around my neck and another that attaches to the action camera. Magnetic Neck Selfie Holder,... www.amazon.com/dp/B0B45Z4NZ8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I delivered 97 orders this week that order minimum thing won't be a big deal. But my AR is 68% so I've got quite the buffer to build this week when the tier program launches I want to be atleast 80% so we shall see what happens
I hate shopping and deliver when I have to pick up clothes. I also seem to get all the shop and deliver where people order the oddest things that who knew existed. Apparently there is organic tanning bronzers and beers? Who knew? As a platinum, I get more upside down orders but of course comes with the message of keeping your platinum status. I'm going to see if this changes with boosting my AR to over 90% because this $40/day is for the birds. I multiapp but if I'm not at platinum status I can't end my dash and have to rely on pausing. Then if I didn't resume I'm back to scheduling if not platinum. I'm on wait-list for many other apps but I guess they don't need drivers. So I feel like I have to take the upside down orders or just sit, or decline, affecting my AR. Rock in a hard place.
@@HugoBoss_210 was actually referring to each delivery NOT being a large dollar amount. just constantly busy. Not sure where you dash but where i live all i have to do is turn the app on and it starts. the gap of dashtime/online time is always less than an hour. some of you people crack me up. i have been doing all the apps since inception. no longer do uber/lyft/sidecar as completely not worth it. While its not the way it was in 2014-2018 or Covid its still profitable if you just pay attention to details.
I had a wreck the other day while doing doordash. thankfully I had just done my last order. My car is totaled but I am fine - someone ran into me and they were going so fast.
How so? I see some people need to take photos of the order receipt 🧾 and I’ve not had that happen but once or twice a few weeks ago. But now it’s having me input the last three characters (numbers, or letters, or a combo) off the receipt order number just like at McDonald’s. The first day I kept putting them in the bag and then having to unzip and get that info. 😂

Hi Chuck, Hope you’re doing good. Hope you had a happy Father’s Day. One thing you’re doing that has bothered me is yesterday you had a pharmacy pick up and there was a Plan B in the order and you mentioned it, which is fine but then you turned around and gave the woman’s first name and showed the front of her apartment and I have seen in the past that you have showed the girl on RU-vid. I’m worried that these people don’t want everybody to know their business, and maybe somebody would recognize their name or front of their apartment.I just don’t wanna see you get in trouble. I am not one to pass negative comments on, but I’m just worried. I really enjoy your video.❤
I should be more discreet. But I went back and watched that part and there's just no way anybody could identify her. It's not even where she lives. It's a vacation rental.
Quick question: wouldn’t the 100 deliveries for the month be due at the end of the month? I’m just wondering for myself. Why would u be trying to complete it by the 16th? Great video tho!!
@@DashingAcrossAmerica thanks for getting back to me. So how do I know when to have the 100 deliveries completed by? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question. Just kinda new to this. I’m gold now and the 100 deliveries is the only thing holding me back.
@@Jayc_e93you go into your earnings tab on your dasher app and it breaks it down by week. You just go one month back from the current date and count how many deliveries you have made since then
@@Jayc_e93it also tells you every time you start a dash how many deliveries you have made in the last 30 days and you just subtract that from 100 and that’s how many you need
@@Jayc_e93You have to maintain at least 100 every single day...which sucks when you're used to being Top dasher. With Top dasher you could have it for the month, then let your stats drop and binge deliveries the last few days of the month to bring them all back up....but that came to a screeching halt with the tier program. You have to have them up all the time ☹
here in vegas i just turn on uber eats DD and grubhub and make more money than play these stupid Doordash games where they want to treat you like a W2 and make you take charity work
Does Uber or Spark have any acceptance, completion or any other rating. I hate to say it again but it seems every video lately revolves around you staying Platinum. You are platinum and take garbage orders to remain so you can get more garbage orders. DoorDash has really become terrible lately, lucky to get a couple offers anymore, not sure what had happened.
same bs in my market. old people ruining it for the rest by taking bad pay and lowering the pay. if you have nothing else to do, don't just make it worse for the rest
Platinum program is trash worst orders than before silver 6 years never seen anything like this not one time has it ask for my catering bag were in a area that has these CS reps can’t answer nothing about it’s a total scam I have 100% AR now so not sure what more I could give them trash orders
