I watched Spike Lee's Masterclass videos and they basically changed my life. Spike Lee taught many things in his Masterclass, so many things in fact, that I've forgotten most of them already. Maybe I'm a bad listener. One thing I didn't forget is Spike's description of the hollywood studio culture and the difficulty which even renowned directors such as himself have when trying to produce a film/movie. There is a common misconception that being successful opens every door, but reality is often disappointing. Pay attention to the sidewalk.
p.s. this is not a Spike Lee Masterclass review, but I would DEFINITELY recommend watching it!
