Awww. Shoney’s was my first job. I miss the food. In this day and age of artisan, organic, and local, I’m nostalgic for their chopped beef and grilled onions over the seasoned rice. The seafood buffet was decadent lol. I made sure not to work on Wednesdays. Kids ate free 😂. It’s an institution. I hope beyond all hope that they do make their comeback.
What a sweet fixie. Ive been looking for a new smaller fixie. I like neck carry a lot. I use it more than anything else. What do you suggest? It has to have strong retention i have little kids who knock out my other neck knives

I thought I would tell you that the sheath retention on a TACTICAL PTERODACTYL Knife is so tight you could just add leather or a weave or something to wear around your neck to the really good sheath that comes with it. They make custom small batches, and are a small EDC fixed blade knife company. They are very good blades. Good luck. I hope you pick a great blade, and I hope it kicks total A$$
Handmade or mid-tech vs full production is one reason for the pricing. But something you'll find people who prefer fixed blades will want is the ability to easily field sharpen. Super steels aren't always the best for every application
