Name calling…. Quite charming. Anyway I just looked it up and the times no matter where you look say the Dark Horse is the clear winner around the track “With” the Handling pack.
@@shiestycoyote I love the ZL1. Almost traded in my GrandSport for one but I absolutely loved the GS just wished it had more power. So I got a Z06 instead and couldn’t be happier but the ZL1 is a beast in its own right. Basically the same damn engine in a different body
As far as ik the ZL1 1Le has the option to adjust the suspension, wheels are lighter, and in the 6 speed manual the sixth gear is slightly shorter (0:68:1 vs 0:54:1) .. all together the 1LE is more sufficient on the track.
Fair enough but I would still go for the dark horse, The car by a performance and technical standard is much for proficient and if you want some extra “Boost” get the available upgrade thru Whipple tuning to go from Amazing to this is just an animal!!!! Best of luck either way bro…
Dark Horse costs much more and for less horsepower. It's 500hp at the crank and with the added Whipple package you're looking at another $10,000 on top of the MSRP for about 600ish wheel hp on 91pump gas.
Congratulations on your new car and good luck with it but in my opinion you should have upgraded to the Dark Horse with the handling pack, On track and performance this Camaro wouldn’t have been a memory
