Today I built a crazy magical village under my mega cherry tree! Leave a like and comment and please subscribe :D Follow me on twitter!: / smallishbeans
Super sorry about the editing mess up 😬. I watched it back in my editing program and it was fine, but i think I accidentally moved something just before rendering 😢. I’m sorry guys I should have rechecked!!!
In defense of irl architect, you can't do everything you want with buldings in real life. You're restricted by budget, calendar, gravity, physic law, security, materials disponibility and usability, how will it face the elements and time decay etc... And often they are commissioned, so it's someone else idea at the star.
If you place a bell in your village the villagers are likely to see it as their central square and all meet there in the afternoon. That brewing temple for instance is a good place. Then you have a reliable way of knowing where your villagers are, at least for one time during the day.
I really like the first person pov while you explain your building process to us! You should do it more often, it kind of gives me nostalgia to the days I would watch step by step tutorials on how to build a cool Minecraft houses.
Beautiful builds as always!! Did you edit this while falling asleep tho? 😅 Lots of overlapping day numbers and black clips... Still an enjoyable video for sure, but please don't feel the need to rush out content in a timeline if you need a little extra time to breathe. Hope you're taking care of yourself! Looking forward to whatever you have planned for the future!
Dear Joel Please don't die I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and there are so many things I still wanna see Like the train station through the world so far, Another lizzie collab, A aquarium enclosure thing for the passive under water mobs And whatever other wacky and fun ideas you come up with I have so much respect for this man And his craft and dedication but also his screen presence ✨️💫
The village is adorable! Love the fantasy feel, the colors and the mushrooms was like icing on the cake! Scrumptious 😊 It seems like the editor might need a raise, or a break, the day counter was all over the place in this one 😂 and the second house interior was just black screen, but it was described well so, no harm 😁 (I know that Joel edits these himself, Im just joking) Loved the vid either way 😊
Anyone else having some parts of the video missing? Just the screen being black when he does the interior on the first two houses? Edit: And the day counter starting at around 16:05 is messed up
His videos are just so homey, it just makes me feel like were on a call or like we're talking with eachother. im pretty sure this is one of my favourite things, besdides how joel is just the leonsrdo da vinci of minecraft building.
I think it should be 'homey' just because homely tends to mean 'ugly' or 'not pleasant to look at.' 😂 But I agree it feels like a nice call with someone you've known for a long time
@@Frog.but.Frog.for.short.Oh no, you got pretty close! Homely isn't a word that's often used anymore (It's more of an old timey word) and the rules of English are pretty confusing 😂
dude this is insane. you SHOULD be proud - it looks absolutely amazing. i can't imagine the effort this took. i do not have this kind of patience. thank you for the quality content.
when i saw the area, only with the new buildings - without the mushrooms etc - i really thought: "oh my god is this ugly - how can joel build a city, that i dont like? impossible.." - and then you added in the details with the mushrooms, the flowers etc. and my mind exploaded... its so incredible how much, these little things can change a whole area - very nice build again joel! i am impressed, and i wish, i can learn building as good as you ^^
Okay I LOVE the pink city!! I can't wait to see what other styles you come up with. Also, VERY excited for MCC. Meltdown and bingo?! You're going to do great! If you mess up don't get in your head about it. YOU'RE NUMBER 1 😂💜
I really like when you made the one house next to the commons of the cherry village and the small cliff edge. I really enjoyed your thought process and telling us how you make your buildings and giving subtle tips on your building style. It's actually really helpful and it kinda connects us to you and vise versa!
Love this video because it's longer and you actually take more time to explain your details and thought process ^^ i find you often rush through your progress, eventhough that's what I love about your work :)
Genuinly such a beautiful area, I'm always so impressed with your work. Even when I tease you about interiors, your skill and creativity is so wonderous.
Really like the village Mr Beans. Btw I've found the best things that work with cherry are mangrove and/or crimson with a heavy contrast in something like deepslate. Or just going absolutely wild with colour and using cherry as a more neutral background.
I know I'm far too late but a great cherry wood palette I started using from my test world consisted of blocks like cherrywood, unstripped acacia, and calcite, It all blends together really well!
One of my favorite parts of the tutorial worlds on older minecraft versions was the railway that went across the whole map! So of course im a fan of the idea of train stations all over
Thanks for showing the stats! I find that Minecraft days have too much of a difference depending on whether your sleep or not. Nice to see how long its actually been. :D
