The Everest has RaRo 280 (Moderne Pica-Blockschrift) with the "falling t" and not Simplicitas. I am sure you know the difference between those typefacesfaces and made the slip in unawareness. That collector does have many remarkable machines!
@@MrMrsVintageTypewritersI am incorrect. The Everest typeface is not RaRo 280 with a descender on the f. The Everest typeface is more akin to Vogue with a descender on the f. It's called Simplex. My apologies for the error. RaRo 280 is rounder and better proportioned than Simplex or Vogue. Neither RaRo 280, Simplex or Vogue can hold a candle to Simplicitas, as far as I'm concerned. I know few agree, and I don't mind being wrong about that. 😉
@@MrMrsVintageTypewritersHa! That will teach me to go spouting off before reviewing typing samples. It is entertaining to look for the differences between related faces like Simplex, Vogue and RaRo 280.
