Yeah, this is a horror story. I can't be angry with him because I know all of his content mill brethren are doing it and this is just our life now. Time to go back to Yahoo.
This is why I believe in the long run we will end up with human curated niche search engines. A bit like a Yahoo / Google hybrid. Realistically when you look at specific niches such as say video gaming the number of web sites that offer content that’s of actual value is laughably small.
After putting my heart and soul into a site with 500 articles written and original images created by me, I went from $3,000 per month to $150 per month after the helpful content update. I experimented with AI sites on the side, and they are all thriving. It's just the new reality and it needs to be embraced.
I was doing this "challenge" on my own (not even knowing it existed until referred to watch by YT) with 3 sites. Edvard may have (and you'll have to ask him) ran into the "POLAND" spam with G4 analytics (which isn't actually traffic at all and doesn't affect anything - they just abuse the G4 - and that's what it looks like). That would possibly account for his huge spike in "organic" (it's 'referral spam')
Hey Spencer, been a NP follower since 2016! Site project 4, I believe. Didn't you just publish a video about 12 days ago or so telling people not to start a blog with the sole purpose of driving traffic and converting sales? Anyway. Thanks dude!
I sure did. I wouldn't make your main business a blog with the sole purpose of getting traffic from Google. Its fun to play around with and experiment (like all these participants). But if you are going to start a blog in hopes of making real money, I would get traffic from Google AND lots of other traffic sources...do it right. (That was the point of my last video).
To everyone involved in this: You're all littering the internet. The equivalent of someone backing a dump truck of trash and dumping it in your town's public square.
My question now would be: How can it be monetized? I have tried to build a new website myself with AI support, but it is rejected by AdSense. However, this is not a problem with existing sites if they already have AdSense.
This update on the AI content challenge is both fascinating and revealing! The shift in strategies and the unexpected twists, especially with Edward's experience, provide valuable insights into the complexities of SEO and content creation. Thanks for sharing these updates, eagerly awaiting the final outcome in the next two months! 📊
Sir how many article should i post for my website to get good standing result in google adsense dashboard if i go for ads revevue to go, also when i reach for 400 to 500 dollar per month just using ad revenue ?
Matt Diggity interviewed that one team that did something similar. They made like 100k a month or something stupid. Theyre obviously not there to make something to last. Quick money before the dip.
I think a more rational approach should have been to challenge all on the same niche.. niches affects the overall search volume a lot.. recepies got the most volume after the bulk content
Interesting experiment... props for the work/money/automation involved... but 7 million pages is straight up trash... especially with only 22k traffic resulting from it
I prefer watching your videos when you look straight at the camera and talk. It feels like you're talking straight to me. I don't like it when you record your side face by putting the camera to your side. That's just my opinion. :)
Tell that to people that put in years of 100% effort and played by the book, only to have Google destroy their traffic and send their traffic to that dumpster fire Reddit.
@@DropshipWARNING Those people unfortunately didn't get the memo that the only reason to drive organic traffic is to capture emails and grow an email list using a lead magnet (pop up on the site). Once you have your regular readers on an email list, your site could literally fall off the face of Google forever and you'd still be ok. There's a reason that Miles Beckler (and many other marketers) say that "the money is in the list". Fortunately, there are several other ways to drive traffic to a lead magnet - for example, paid ads, RU-vid videos, TikTok, IG, etc. Organic traffic is only one small avenue nowadays, and probably the least-recommended anymore.
I think a balance is best. Not blasting 7 million articles but I’m also not going “all-in” on one site when we know G treats them as disposable and replaceable.
I watched "7,000,000 AI Generated Articles Published: What Happened?" I found it interesting, but I have a few critiques. First, the title is misleading. It should be "7,000,000 AI-Generated Articles Published: What Happened?" or "7,000,000 AI-Generated Articles Published: What Happened?" Second, the video doesn't provide any information on how the articles were generated. Third, the video doesn't provide any information on how the articles were published.
The title isn't misleading at all, you just added a dash, and the second title is exactly the same at the original one. Who cares on how the articles were published, the question is what happened and not how he did it
