Gen 8 was far from perfect. But as a casual who didn’t play any Pokémon since Platinum it was the game to bring me back to the series and I loved it. It had old Pokémon I remembered and new Pokémon for me to love. I’ll miss Galar but excited for Paldea

Really enjoying these monotype videos recently!

I hate the fact that the internet constantly ragging on this game was the basically the only thing I saw about it for it’s first couple of months, since, because of that, I also thought this game was garbage and never picked the game up. This video is basically the only time I’ve actually seen someone go through the whole game and it looks wonderful. Perfect, no, but it’s definitely was not so bad that I should have stayed away, like I thought from everyone’s comments. Goodbye Gen 8, maybe one day I’ll come back and see what I’ve missed

I will miss Galar. It debuted the Wild area and is a great stepping stone to full open world games. Toxtricity is one of my favorite Galarian mons. And, shiny galarian zigzagoon is my fav shiny. I’m so excited for Gen 9 and to find new Pokémon that I will absolutely love ❤

I love Galar so much. Incredible characters, I love the selection of Pokemon available and so incredibly early on to. I love the DLCs too.

I don't think eviolite works with male salandit it only works on pokemon who haven't fully evolved and male salandit is unable to evolve, making it a fully evolved single stage pokemon

This is a great send off to this generation. And when scarlet and violet come out, I might still go back to it to do some shiny hunting

I love how he used a male Salandit with Eviolite when the Eviolite only works on the female Salandits cause only they evolve

I love it when ninetails gets to show off how good of a pokemon it is! My favorite pokemon may not be a competitive beast, but she sure is reliable

I love how Pat just completely ignores that fact he can have Heatmor in his team.

You know, I've learned a lot from this video. Double battles suck, Counter can be a massive threat, Fire's a somewhat pog typing, the fallen heroes shall not be forgotten, Hop's lowkey kinda pathetic, kicking elemental balls in the face of your opponents is actually an effective strategy and most importantly: Patterrz can beat the ENTIRETY of Generation 8 with JUST fire types WITH hardcore nuzlocke rules. I'm impressed! (this seemed a lil easy tho, was I the only one who though that?)

Fire Type is my favorite too. Ninetales, Volcarona, Charizard, Arcanine, Houndoom, Infernape, Reshirim, Delphox, Talonflame, Chandalure and so many more. Some of my favorite pokemon.

I watched this entire vid at x2 speed, and I don’t know how I had neither a headache, stroke, nor seizure. Imagine if the Galar story canonically went this fast! Or if Pat actually spoke this fast!

Did you know that in Sword and Shield you can evolve Vulpix as early as route 3 and immediately get access to flamethrower and extrasensory due to the move rememberer being in every pokecenter

My journey of Pokemon started from Postwick in Galar and thus whatever generations in future is to come..Galar would always be a home to me...

Gen 8 had some of my favorite characters, music and Pokemon designs in the entire series! The gameplay wasn't perfect but I still loved it. And the tournament instead of the elite 4 was way cooler

I did this myself about half a year ago. I got myself a Growlithe in the Wild Area, which I evolved and taught Burn Up. Easy Water Gym win 😋

I think this whole region was built for fire types. When I played at the third gym I got a Litwick and when it became a Chandelure The game was a cakewalk. A combination of psychic ghost and fire type moves I barely had to switch out
